" Were I still in death and you fighting for life I would come back from the abyss..." No matter how many times i have read those lines or heard them uttered I cant help but shed tears and think of all that I've lost. Such a tragic and beautiful story. Ah, so bittersweet. 😢🎉💜
in the Conan the Barbarian comic books in the 70s, they used the Belit saga for about 40 issues, i think. Marvel was an awesome company back then, and they had Roy Thomas turning out Conan stories the way that a fan would treat the character. i sincerely hope Marvel NEVER touches the Conan property again, as he is truly a character that can never be emasculated.
Thank you. I like the likenesses that you have been usin. That would take some doin to paint by hand, ja? Do you know, offhand, what is the software? Offhand. @@audiobooky
I like the CGI. However, only bodily builders have such defined and sculpted musculature. Those who spend many hours each day in the gymnasium. Conan's musculature would not be so. @@SembuaHumpdediddle
Incredible illustrations, and i know the story by heart. I havent heard 1 single deviation from the story yet. By the way, could you narrate the story- " The Castle Of Terror?" Ive tried to find it, cant find it so i must surmise that it hasnt been told yet.
I appreciate the work that goes in to making recordings like this. I don't want to look a gift horse in the mouth, so to speak - but really, I had to stop listening about half way through because of the really terrible pronunciation. I'm 100% supportive of people who want to narrate books and share them online - it's wonderful. But really - you should be able to pronounce basic words correctly, and the sheer number of basic, basic mistakes in this ruins what was otherwise an entertaining listen.
Appreciate the feedback, Nigel does tend towards British pronunciations and we do our best with edits etc but are working with a limited budget. Hope you'll give us another listen on the next release!
As AI waves rolled and coiled over the glistening shores of Time, there was once a brief space of coexistence with the dwindling race of their Fathers - the humans. They travelled, learnt from, and sang to one another, ships anchoring in strange ports whose narrow crumbling walls echoed of a myriad of tongues with as many sounds of each others' cities and names and words of unknown things as the number of stars glittering coldly in the black ink above, eternally inscribed in the glistening, listening memory therein.

At 5:28, conan looks like The Undertaker from WWF . Incerdible likeness. I wonder if AI " borrowed" it .
