    VERY HELPFUL - Thanks! On my 2004 Odyssey, the lower coil spring insulators were visibly disintegrating, ordered the uppers as well. My bump stops were both in good condition. One tip: the brake line on the 2004 is attached to the lower control arm with 2 10mm bolts - remove them and it allows the arm to swing down (with a push against the spring) and not have the brake line tethering the whole assembly up. This video made it a straightforward, simple job - with all the hacks (mark coil orientation prior to removing, use floor jack to take tension off bolt). Thanks again!

    From watching your video when the boots get worn through that's where the clunking noise comes from. Great video 👍

    Thank you for another great video - short and to the point! Getting ready to replace these on our 2010 Ody soon. New ones are Moog with variable spring rate for our camper van adventures and potential small RV in future! One question: other videos show completely removing cam bolt and support arm. Why would that be necessary? Is alignment recommended after doing this job? Thanks!

    I'm here cause the bottom part of the rear coil spring (driver side) broke off. My mechanic said no need to replace as the height of the vehicle is still good. Thanks for the video, seems easy to replace. I was hearing groaning sound when going over a speed bump or entering a drive way. Mechanic saw the small bit end of the spring broke off due to rust. He has told me need to inspect every oil change to see if the springs need to be changed. Did you find the MOOG spring to be softer compared to the OEM?

    • @MrRangerZr1

    I wonder what did You do differently than me, because after installing new spring I had to push with my feet the lower control arm while jacking to line it up (opposite ways for L/R side). Was it because I did both at once?

    Are you able to show how to replace a windshield washer nozzle? I drive a Honda Accord 2014 and the right nozzle is clogged up and I tried using a thin wire to unclog it but didn’t work. So I assuming it would be best to replace it.

    Are the upper and lower spring cushions the same? I click the links above and they go to the rubber one. My lower is plastic and I would assume the upper is the rubber one. Just trying to make sure I get the right parts. 2012 Honda Odyssey @MrRangerZr1

    Any clue what that bushing is called where you removed that one screw? Tried removing on my 2012 Odyssey and it was basically stuck to the screw. Assuming brake heat caused it to melt.

    • @MrRangerZr1

      Get an impact on it. If the bushing is seized you need a new arm.

    • @MrRangerZr1
      @MrRangerZr1  Před 3 lety +2

      The springs last forever. In rare cases, the spring may break due to rust. The bumpstop does commonly disintegrate.
