Who is Dale Brisby!? Dale Brisby is a legendary bull riding gypsy soul that is always on to the next one! He crawls outta bed the same way he crawls into the bucking chute, ready to keep it 90! He loves spurring big brahmer necks for big money checks. you can find him at the pay window, behind the bucking chutes, in the chute, or even busting broncs and tearing down honky tonks! He's been 90 in Maine, Spain, Spokane, and Ala-bame! Thank you for taking a moment to enjoy his shenanigans on the road, at a rodeo, or at home at Radiator Ranch! We all know that one guy who's always playin. You find yourself wondering every time he opens his mouth if its a serious story or another joke. You think to yourself, "You play too much! But it is funny. And you're good looking. And I want to name my kid after you. And you're a legend. And I want you to kiss my wife on the mouth!" Well that guy is me! Sometimes when I open my mouth, I don't even know if what I'm about to say is credible, so I can't imagine how you feel! However, if it isn't true, it otta be! Thanks again for joining!
I read Psychocybernetics in college in 1969. Mr Leffew has been an inspiration to me for a long time.

When I was riding hunter/jumper my riding instructor introduced me to psychocybernetics. It really improved my riding when I made a commitment to the visualization, etc. A year and a half ago I switched to an eventing barn and have been focusing on dressage. Somewhere in there I fell out of the habit of visualizing my perfect rides. Watching this interview gave me a kick in the pants to get back to it! What an inspirational man! Love that you got to pick his brain. Thanks for sharing it with us!
P.s. I wear my Dale wear to the eventing barn. Bringing a little rodeo time to the dressage arena! I ain’t no cowgirl but to me rodeo time is a state of mind. Rodeo time = bring it on!

I have to pass this along, I attended Gary’s school in 1974. We were gathered at the meeting place when all of a sudden, here he comes, the great Gary Leffew, 1970 World Champion Bull Rider. What was he wearing? Not his world champion buckle, but his Nat’l Finals Rodeo buckle for bull riding..
What is your point? A buckle is a buckle.
Gary's teaching theories haven't changed since the mid 70s! I'm a Santa Maria GIRL! Use to go to his Bullriding school back in the day to watch the Bullriders! ❤🤠🐂🤠❤

I agree with Gary, there needs to be divisions for high school bull ridin, for safety purposes!!! Kids with less bull ridin experience don't need to be getting on bulls that don't suit them
