Here’s an update on the biggest wins on The Chase UK! (Celeb specials are not included in this video) 0:00 4. £90,000 4:33 3. £90,000 9:18 2. £100,000 14:00 1. £120,000
@@drewconway7135 oh, I’m sorry, I just use ‘ironically’ in a lot of different situations, even when it doesn’t make sense. My bad. I guess I should’ve said that it’s ‘fitting’? Would that have been the right word? Please correct me if you have the chance.
My friend told me the other day there that I didn't understand what irony meant. I thought it was pretty ironic as we were standing at the bus stop at the time.
The chase has definitely tightened up in the questions and budget. When a good team accumulates a decent cash build the questions seem strangely harder. There is bias loaded into the game in recent months which is a shame. It’s integrity is being lost
Damage was done in the build up of that final, 18 steps on their set of questions was very good and they worked together very well to set that target. Being in the studio and potentially about to win 30 grand will make you forget things you know like the back of your hand. I know I definitely wouldn’t have played as well as team.
Damn, they couldn’t name a city in Pennsylvania? It’s almost like they live in another country! But that’s silly, right?! Also, Barclay literally suggested comma as one of the answers. Only Gemma said she never heard of it.
@@somerandomgameranimator4481 Well yeah, it's not that hard. Off the top of my head: Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and Harrisburg the home of Hersheys chocolate. They're on a quiz show...
I wouldn’t have got it right, if that means anything. Then again, I barely know anything at all and haven’t known the correct answer to a question in nearly three months, I always just have to guess based on the question rather than actually knowing the relevant fact.
@@benwakefield93 Listening comprehension mate. The Chase has a daytime show and another variant Beat the Chasers - that was the highest one on the daytime show at the time.
@@benwakefield93 It is implied that he is referring to the highest win on a daytime version of the show he is presenting. Again, listening comprehension
Are there any stories about big winners on this programme chipping in to pay someone who was knocked out - maybe £1 or £2k each? With a big win, it's certainly something I would consider.
He actually doesn't deny it though he's spoke before about why he reads them so fast that's because the chaser is suppose to know them also if he read them that fast for contestants they wouldn't get nowhere near as many right
The three lightning fast answers from Mark at the end was actually pretty impressive
Felt very reminiscent of the early seasons
8:17 someone has to say it… ironically, Barclay was laughing all the way to the bank.
and all the way to the nappy store too
That isn’t what irony is 🤦♂️

Maybe the word is "ridiculously" instead of "ironically"

Loved this! Love your channel
The exciting part of the Chase is:
THE FINAL CHASE!!
Good job. Would've been nice to see the contestants run too
them not knowing an oxford comma, and then shaun thinking 1/4 of a gallon is a litre is crazy lmao
To be fair, a liter is only a little bit more than a US quart and a little bit less than a UK quart
Well Done.Love a Winner
Very good games tho
Awesome efforts
Sea Goat.. pegasus.. loool 😂
He ALWAYS, asks the questions much faster to the chasers
It's almost as if he doesn't want to give away £1000s of ITVs money
You can actually choose if you want him to read you slow,or faster.I was on chase, and you can ask Bradley that.
@@marinothegreatsan ooh that's interesting!
Anzac parade is a road in Sydney Australia 🇦🇺
Commonwealth capital was the question.... Canberra is the capital of Australia.
The second team were awful. They got lucky.
why would Barclay want to buy £30,000 worth of *DAIPERS* ?
It's shuan wallace
@@disneydanny2it was a joke
Ohio is a state not a city. Still won but that wasn't a brilliant answer.
It's also the namesake of the Ohio River
Oxford Comma
There are biggest wins
Second team can't name a city in Pennsylvania, never heard of the Oxford comma, win 90 grand. Life isn't fair.

Most amount won on a daytime show? What about Deal or No Deal?
I think he meant the highest amount won on a daytime episode of The Chase.
@footystar1GamingOfficial it's not what he said

You missed the one where a three people win 201000
No one has won £201,000 on UK Chase
First
kind of shocked that they cant name pittsburgh or know the capital of pennsylvania
Would you expect US players to know random boroughs in the UK? No
If Americans can name the biggest town in say... Rhondda cynon taff that'd be a good point.
