It is my opinion that there are thousands of people who are as beautiful, as talented and as capable as any who have achieved the high and hallowed status of ‘celebrity’. The only difference is timing. The Celebs just happened to be in the right place at the right time to run into the right people who could vault them to those heights. All too often, it is never about being really good, but rather just being in the right place. Unfortunately, Celebs do not look at it in this way.
Once upon their pedestals, Celebs begin to think that they are special, of a different class than their fans and have greater insights into everything. The only unique insight they have is that of living in the alternate realities of their craft. They move from movie to movie and show to show, each time living a different life for a brief moment. Eventually, they lose sight of who and what they really are. When this happens, they create their own realities based upon the higher aspects of what roles they have done, all of which are fantasies.
Sadly, the shallow-minded who worship Celebs live in the same realities and take their words as scripture. Thus, when Celebs feel the need to stand and proclaim their opinions, especially about politics, the shallow-minded fall to their knees in awe and then follow blindly as they are led to Hell.
