I have so many questions. But I want to be cautious with not disclosing info and it get me in trouble.
So, everyone has to show their papers. I have no idea what is in papers. A backstory of why I am so curious is that my daughter had a horrible experience, she was 5 and the guy was 35. Very complicated case and he had to be charged on federal and state levels. Federal charges he pled guilty to 3 of 9 counts and he gave a long speech while awaiting sentencing in St. Martinville. He originally confessed to his crimes since he could not deny them and he had repeated his guilt and explained that he pled guilty to avoid putting us through a trial when he has already put us through hell. Judge gave him the maximum sentence of 90 years in federal prison. He was being held in the parish jail since his capital charges were still awaiting trial, Covid came and they had to get a lot of people out, he was sent to Pollock. His conviction was not on the crime itself, but that he recorded it. I don’t know how long he was in Pollock, but he was shipped out to a place that he has a bit more protection at. Charged in 2017, sentenced in 2019, but we have still not got to trial for his other charges. The other charges are capital offenses and he has 6 counts that would have a mandatory life or death penalty. He has others, but I think y’all are catching on. The DA called me after years of silence and admitted that the price of transporting a federal inmate is too expensive. I got a call from the DA office saying that someone else is handling the case and asked if I would accept a 50 year at hard labor sentence so that they can get this out of the system. I don’t know how all of this works to be able to make a good decision. It wasn’t mentioned if that would run consecutively or concurrent, the world has lost it with all this gender and sexual preference BS and I don’t trust the system. But I feel like it’s my job to make sure that he is never a free man and can victimize more children. I guess my question is, 1- Because he was convicted on S exploitation or production of child P, is it something that he would have been labeled as a target even though he didn’t have the other charges on his paperwork? And could this be why he was moved to a different USP? He has been in the same place now for a good while now, I guess because he is around people who are like him. I’m also curious about how much access inmates have to find public records. I allowed a press release on the condition that they not not expose my family, but I wanted people to see this crap happens everywhere and to not be so naive. It was posted on social media, aired on the news and on the DOJ website. Did I put a target on his back?
