Huh... I didn't even know about these! Thanks for the vid! I was gonna go for the $135 GZila mounts, but really didn't like how far it'd make the awning stick out. Guess I'll be getting these when I finally get my roof basket.
Yeah I thought about the GZila mounts as well but wanted to try these out. So far they work well. They did bend a little bit went tightening the awning down but I’m not too worried.

I don’t have a link, but they should pop up on google when you type in Anderson Design and Fabrication.
Do you know the distance between the top t-slot and bottom? I have an old ARB on my trailer that is mounted by drilled holes the manufacturers roof bar mounts. The ARB t-slots are exactly 2" center to center. I'd like to replace the old awning with a new Roam one if the t-slot measurements are the same. So I don't have to drill any additional holes.
I just measured the mounting bolts that are in the slots, and from each center it was 1.75in apart.
Did you go with 10mm or 13mm track slot for the ADF brackets?

Bolts should come with the ADF brackets since there are more.
Any update on how the brackets held up? I just bought some but I saw a review that they have broken before.
They work alight. The aluminum is not super thick, so it had bent in while tightening. I will eventually change out the brackets or I could double them up. But for now they will have to do aha

It has held up for me just fine so far. It’s bent slightly (but noticeable), but I did not crank down the bolts super hard. Haha I would go all out and tighten them, but you don’t want strip the aluminum awning track.
@@WildernessOffroad I feel like you could have used washers to help keep it together like a splint when you break or fracture your finger

I dont know if they will work for that. He makes a couple and they fit multiple brands. It’s a bit spendy but you could also check out GZilla Designs, they have universal mounts.

No clue! I don’t have a slimshady..
ADF has 10mm and 13mm option and i'm scratching my head as to which one i need. Planning on getting Ironman 4x4 6ft awning or RhinoRack awning.
how many feet your roam awning is. 5 or 6.5
It’s the 5. I’d suggest going to the next size up, especially if you are thinking on adding the room.

The width, I think they all come out the same distance.
