This amazes me especially when you set the playback speeds to 75 and really listen and understand the flams and accents he plays at the right places……unbelievable………………..then play it at normal speed ! Not many modern day drummers could understand this - never mind playing it. Well worth the practise and time he put in to get to this level of playing.
13 years and 18 comments my god people need to see this guy his style is just unreal and he’s just so natural doing it. As a drummer Gordon we salute you. Other world class drummers buddy rich, Jojo Mayer, steve gad they could not even come close to doing this rudimentary drumming.
People only wish to be as good its surprising he hasnt won the Solos cant say much difference between the top 10 of the world aside from grip and maybe stick playing height and the odd humming or facial expression when they play

he didnt mess up. that's the way boghall and bathgate has always played hat tune. ive also heard other soloists play it that way.

yes he playes excellent but i saw the mistake its clearly appear, anway he is great and everyone makes mistakes
