I got a Shark Vacuum cleaner used for $30 and it was barely used and works perfect so people check your flea markets,yard sales and online.
Those dual rollers are great for multi surface cleaning but honestly it’s not necessarily needed if you have a cleaner with a squeegee or one that can disengage the brush roll in fact for the average consumer it causes more issues because that’s one extra thing that needs maintenance and more than likely won’t be maintained causing it to malfunction I can’t imagine these working properly if that front roller fails
I like both vacuums
Watching the video, the shark seems to have better suction, & those teeth at the roller are awesome. Not sure I'd pay the extra $100 for that, because the Hoover worked great, has a longer hose, and is easier to push. My husband bought a shark because he hates using my Kirby. It's a smaller one, but it was really hard to push. I'm spoiled to my Kirby's drive feature.
Just a Dad are recent Shark died the White and Red Rotator lift-away. Work horse for yhears. It seems that none of the new Sharks (how to return them) won't work on our carpet extremely hard to push. Our carpet is really nothing special so I'm not sure why it's a problem. Hoover unfortunately without the lift-away it's a deal breaker.
You missed the main difference. The Hoover has cyclones meaning it needs less filter maintenance.
My daughter had a hoover wind tunnel, it didn't pick up much. She returned it and got the Shark lift away. The Hoover after vacuum daily , didn't pick up. The Shark picked up dry wall dust under her carpet that had been there for 5 years!!!! We will not get anything but Shark!!!!
