It's all situational. I only have an i7 chip and free power, so I'm mining RTM on my 1080Ti to get enough RTM for an iNodez submission.

Took a cue from you last night. I did a 12 hour test on my GPU's. I have 26 3080's, 1 each 3070, 1660s, 2-1070's, 4-5700xt's. 1-580, 1-5600xt and one 6600xt. Farm total is 9kW on eth and rtm is 3.95kW. Getting about 62kh/s on my gpu's and mined 1496 rtm on Flockpool. I switched to 011data now for 12 hours to see which has better payouts.

@@Palmarendur Hand down for me Flockpool is so much better. On 011data all my GPU's mined 210 rtm after 12 hours and all transactions posted. I live in Washington and have 1gig fiber with a 12ms ping to flockpool west and 120ish ping to 011data which is weird as I usually ping around 35ms to the east coast and 110ms to Asia At times on 011 I was seeing 11% stale shares. Not sure what is up with 011. I'm thinking 011 data may be on a 56k modem :)

It makes no sense to calculate efficiency with a wattmeter, because then you also have the power usage for the CPU, memory, hard disk (or SSD), fans, AIO pump, etc.. But the miner is only using the GPU! Just to be clear it IS less efficient, but it's only maybe 20-30% less efficient (on nVidia 3000 series anyway), not orders of magnitude below! It's also entirely possible that wildrig is better optimized for nVidia CUDA than AMD's compute units...
