Almost 10 months ago I went to pick up my daughter at work....she was still busy with patients(she works with kids with autism). As I sat waiting suddenly I saw an orb or a ball full of all kinds of light all over it. It was spinning ...I got a little overwhelmed thinking I was dreaming....I sat up...shook my head but it was constantly there no matter what I did....then I saw this writing ...just as it is written here....these same letters.....I felt an overwhelming peace and joy coming from within me which I cant explain. It lasted for about 10 minutes....after, I decided to draw the letters as I saw it , I needed to know what it stood for because I'd never seen those letters before..I decided not to say anything until I figured it out. When I got home I decided to Google it. Again I was overwhelmed. I called my sister and a friend to tell them what I experienced.....since then, I have been driven to do these meditations.....now I have the answer...now I understand. I'm so grateful...especially at what's happening in this world as I write this....sending Unconditional Love (Agape Love) Forgiveness healing...Thank you.❤

My pug puppy messie was making so much noise at night. He was very hyper active and wasn't sleeping. So As I did my spiritual exercise,I played this HU song on you tube. Slowly messie started calming down and by the end of this video,He was already asleep..Animals are Souls too that can recognize the HU song..It calms them down and brings them so many benefits too just as it does for us.

The HU is ever new to me & never gets old because it is a timeless sound without limits. It is the Divine creative voice of God. In the early 70's a stranger gave me a book about Eckankar called the Far Country by Paul Twitchell. One of the greatest things he shared in it was why & how to chant or sing Huuuuuu while gently focusing on your third eye between the physical eyes but slightly higher. And so began my journey into the higher worlds. Not all at once but what happened eventually was beyond all my knowing. I heard sounds ~ an all encompassing sound that was all sounds in perfect harmony so beautiful, like cosmic rain enveloping me, shocking me to the core of my being. I emerged a new being, shaking all over & drenched in tears. The HU is very powerful because it can take you back to God, to your God self, in exactly the way that is right for you. This is true. It goes back many thousands of years in this world. The most important part - how chanting it awakens the inner sound of HU which can be heard from the spiritual worlds.
@@hu4321 Overall I believe average western folk owe a debt of gratitude to Eckankar for making these teachings accessible to them since the mid 60s (before the advent of the Internet and budget travel). Not everyone happens to be indoctrinated to the Sufism and writings of Mowlana (Rumi) and Shams Tabrizi due to their cultural heritage, from a young age. What Paul did, was meant to be. 🌟

I've been singing HU as an eckist, and I have been overcoming most of my challenges. Healings. My daughter was having swollen legs for more than 12 years, I took her to so many different hospitals, no effects. But through singing d love songs for God HU , she has been healed. It helps many in all faiths and even without religious belief, and has since ancient times. If we can accept love and help from wherever it comes we evolve in purpose and fulfillment. I just stumbled upon this a few days ago. I’ve never heard of HU before.
Ever since I was a little girl, every single time I’ve ever cried really hard, mostly in private, this is the sound that comes out of me as I cry. I’ve never really put much thought into it. I’ve poured through these comments, looking for someone with a similar experience trying to explain this away.
Maybe this means nothing and I’m reaching, perhaps this is divine intervention. I can’t stop thinking about it though now, and I keep coming back and listening to this, over and over again. As though this is very familiar, but it isn’t, and I just don’t understand what, if anything it means, but it moves me in a way I can’t describe.
WOW. Your comment touched me. I'll try and respond as best I can from my experience. HU is the sound found in the deepest place of the heart. Since I was a child (maybe 5 y.o. until my 20's) I felt a deep heartache, and with it a yearning to find what life was really about. I knew there had to be more than a physical body. At the same time I heard sounds inside which I didn't understand, and Mom and Dad had no answer. Years later, I came across a book that mentioned that God speaks most directly as sound or sounds and that HU was the source sound of all creation and love. Soon after I had an experience out of the body, or as Soul Travel, and those worlds of heaven each has a different sound which comes out of HU (OM is one). Blessings. P.S. I was raised as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, so the idea of a soul was rejected in my youth, but none of that ever felt right for me. I left the Kingdom Hall many years ago as a teenager.

This is a sound you can hear in the wind... The wind in trees and leafs. The sound you hear in the sea, as the waves and tides move on the sand. This is the sound you hear in the rain. Even if you close your eyes and ears and focus on the You deep inside you can still hear this HU throughout from your body... HU is everywhere.

As a teen I stood under the night sky asking the universe if all there is to life is what I had known thus far. School, family, friends…. It all felt so devoid of real meaning. I left home at 17, did yoga, checked out various paths like Buddhism & Taoism & searched for an answer to that question. After kind of begging God Or the divine for a spiritual guide, an acquaintance gave me “The Spiritual Notebook” by Paul Twitchell, Where I learned about the HU. It’s nearly 50 years ago that I was given the book & I thought I’ll let the HU prove to me if it is real.. and indeed it has. The HU never fails to provide love, protection, recall of past lives, healing & more. But it’s up to the individual what they want to learn or experience, as we each have our own path to God. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I had an experience while singing HU; an ancient and secret love song to God. I was in the middle of the universe and I could hear and feel other beings from all creation doing the same thing. It was a feeling of being ONE in God and it was like God was singing it through us to ITSELF. It was,and IS, a simbiatic relationship that's going on even if we're not conscious of IT.💙

When I compare with other meditations, HU does what other sounds do, and more. Swiftly, and with the pure power of Love. It's especially helpful when I feel fearful and in need of protection.
I agree, and you make me wonder how something so simple as 2 letters could make such a change in consciousness. I find it's because it resonates with something deeper than words can explain - it resonates or rather mirrors the sound from the heart of God. While I am not an Eckist, I know well of HU, indeed. Rest that It is a ubiquitous living dynamic proving extant in All nature and life. A curio to HU is that IT ever crops up in some form or expression or another throughout the world's cultural geography, and has evidenced in still other linguistic forms down through the ages. One finds some turn on HU in the Hawaiian language; and in some Spanish-speaking cultures where one may see the name Jesus used, a shortened take on the name Jesus is Chuy, from its root name Yes'hu'a -- therein both these names set the HU. Also is it commonly found in certain Chinese dialects.
Hence, HU even proves another if essential spin to the very construction of the Anglo-Latinate term, 'hu'man being itself in addition to the equally familiar taxonomy Homo Sapiens -- yet even this prefix, Homo, proves a corruption of it, deriving from that of the form that is HU. In Christianity one hears the term Hallelujah used -- again but another if extended take on HU. There is no escaping this truth and feature. It nestles within the Human being naturally.
When sung en mass, and, if one listens intently, he or she will hear sounds hitherto unimaginable bear forth by virtue of voices in unison and intent -- out of this comes a sound likened to that of a symphony of voices, a harmony of sounds, like the madrigals; even there evidences preponderance of the jhankar, the sound of the Flute can be heard -- hence was this fascination written about and proves the inspiration to the book titled The Flute of God.
'That' in great part is the melody and harmony, which the book alludes to whereof the sound converges into one solid and focused sound, now stark, pure, at once cold, nigh unapproachable, now as quickly warm, comforting, powerful. It is that which is seen as light and heard as sound.
All the great Orders and Lines know of it and its manifold forms and varied octaves of energy and vibratory rates. It is HU.

years, the references to HU in ancient Egypt, and the word "God" which some etymology experts have traced back to the German "Ghuta" (which originally developed out of the Sanskrit word HU). More important than any history or mental references is of course what you mentioned about it's ability to open man to a greater reality, specifically to the Sound and Light of God. Now, at this time on earth there walk newly-minted masters the like of which event has not occurred before, because there proves so great a need here not only upon earth but overall in Pind (the physical universe). Indeed, the Light & Sound proves centered more here on earth than on other points and places in Pind (or Pinda). Peddar Zaskq highlighted this very point in his writings.
I've been chanting HU for many years and it continues to open my heart more and more.
@Marys Line1969 There may be a physical note (or pitch) but that is not important. Here's why. The HU is the original sound from the heart of God, and is the source of all vibration, all sound. It carries and creates all frequencies. Sing the pitch that feels right for you. Try it out.

I was taught about this from my mom I have added it to my phone. I use it to help me sleep. Or if I'm feeling sad or scared or even if I'm having a great day and want to increase that feeling. Interesting that the first two letters of my last name spell HU. As the video states, no matter what your path, you can use this song to open your heart. You are simply giving love to God for the love God gives to us. God loves us as we are his creation. The way an artist may love a painting or sculpture
Or the way a singer may love a song they write. You love it because it is your creation. God loves us in this same way. This song is an exchange of love between the Creator and the creation.

I like the sound of HU, but the sound of silence is much better.
When I have sung HU I also hear inner sounds - which I now know is the sound of Spirit. Different chants can tune us in to different states of consciousness. EX: The OM is one of the higher chants of the mental worlds, and is very good for calming the mind. The HU, however, is from the heart of God and some consider it the sound behind all sounds. If you hear this sound coming from within yourself consider yourself blessed.

hu comes from the middle heart or heart note of aum (note the u, and om is not pronounced om but ayiehum) in trinity of creation-sustenance-destruction, u or hu represents sustenance of Vishnu, A is brahma or creative force and m (ending) is shiva - of final dissolution..just sayin’
