Good idea Steve to go back. I think that every part of Malta has something interesting of history to offer. Is there a chance you can do a similar walk at Qormi near the school opposite Cardinal Xiberras street? I used to go to that school up to standard 2 and I only remember familiar places, so your videos are so good to watch. Qormi is well known for it's bread making, there's a forn off Cardinal Xiberras street where I used to go with my aunt 🙂 Grazzi Steve

Hey Steve. Another great video. Got a bit bored this morning so I thought I'd work out just how much you were in shot seeing that other post you received - Did only the first 10 minutes (0:00 to 10:08) because I'm not sad enough to time the entire video AND here's the figures! Total sample length 608 seconds / In-vision 274 seconds / out-of-vision 319 seconds so that's (bear with me!) 45.1% of you and 52.5% of not you. I know that doesn't make 100% because your opening titles are the other 2.3%. Keep up the good work and we all love seeing your smiley face!

I love the look on Steve's face when he hears dog barking in the vicinity or the sound of a shotgun being discharged; this adds something to the experience. Plus for me, being Maltese, I enjoy his comments and opinions about the island and its inhabitants and their ways; I feel he gives an honest view as he sees things. I appreciate that. The full impact of his comments can only be achieved by facial and verbal communication. I manage to see Malta through Steve's eyes, who although having lived on the island for so many years he still offers a different perspective. Hi Steve that was super!. I do not think you should worry about the 10 and 90% thing, just keep doing what you are doing and when you get to 20,000 subs you can lead your 20,000 strong armies into invading Sicily; congratulations by the way for your 10,000 subs. You pronounce Wied Qirda perfectly; which is a great deal when considering how difficult the Maltese Q is for English people to pronounce. Did you know that Qirda means Destruction? It is no wonder it is called Qirda because that part of the valley is the point of confluence of 3 other valleys (wied Hesri, Wied Xkora and wied Baqqiegha) which drain all the rainwater from tal-Virtu, Buskett, Girgenti/Salib tal-Gholja, Mqabba, and the Luqa airport. Wied Qirda then continues as Wied il-Kbir to Marsa (you videoed the last part of this valley next to the Marsa Sports Grounds a few weeks ago. Ah and finally the word Troll in Maltese it means a vaulted structure or building with a vaulted ceiling; old stone-built bridges supported by vaults are also referred to as a troll. Probably that street called triq it-Troll continues over such a bridge. Thank you Steve!!!

The graffiti and rubbish in areas is bad, but seems to be a problem in many areas. Here in Cyprus it is very bad, with flytipping in some beautiful valleys, it is shameful. Nice video. The local roads/alleys around Malta look easy to get lost, which looks like a fun way explore Malta.
I also like to observe the scenery. But, I honestly don't mind seeing your face in your videos either. You have good humour/personality. Your videos would be boring without you. :)
