. Biden. He is making decisions based on what's good for all Americans not just some.. I have no doubts that Obama would be vastly improved if, he was able to use what he experienced and learned from his time in office, that's not always possible. However it's Biden who has the edge since he's a good man to his core, and he already knows about the limitations placed upon Presidents by the system. He isn't a great Orator like Obama, but listen to the words, none are avoided because of his to his lifelong battle against stuttering and the nervousness that goes with it. It is the the very presence of this that allows us to admire him, and there is his life dedicated to public service. This other very human life has been marked by tragedies on such a deeply personal level that I cannot even imagine how he ever got out of bed again. The American people should read about those tragedies and how he got through those, and might believe better in his ability to understand their lives. and what he has overcome .

I just”found”this and I too was amazed at how close he described Jan. 6th., 2021. His description of who Trump’s supporters are is also so true. Unfortunately, that force has only grown since 2016. And now the Republican Party has fractured over that force.
Families have fractured-including mine. I hate Trump with a passion for the evil he’s unleashed on this world. This speech is an accurate foreshadowing of what Trump has done to all of us.

I knew, told my friends and they thought I was nuts. They thought I was crazy for 1. Thinking he could actually win and 2.that if he lost he wouldn’t go away and lie about the election being rigged. How many times I wanted to say “I told you so” for the last 8 years! Too many people then brushed him off as just a clown and didn’t realize how dangerous he could be.

Every other person who knew Trump has also said the same things. His prediction of how trump would react to losing an election was chilling in it's accuracy. In the early Eighties, I was watching the show, Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous and they were doing a piece on Donald Trump. I remember telling my girlfriend, “There’s something not right about this guy. I don’t believe he has the money he claims. He seems shifty.” To this day, he has done nothing to change my mind.
This is the first comment I’ve read that mentions trump and that show. I too felt that something about him wasn’t legit back then. Looking back I blame the media for promoting him and ultimately his lies.

Every preview of trump's reactions to losing the second term as President of the United States is chilling: almost 3 years later and he's still stocking his supporters, insisting that the elections were rigged, unable to accept and moving on. Almost one year later since i watched this and have learned so much more because of Trump. I self educated myself on economics, history, science, technology, politics, and many more subjects. I read the other book the Tiny Schwartz wrote, “What Really Matters” after my husband died of cancer at 48 years old, when I was seeking some way to keep going. That was probably 2003 or 2004, and it really helped, although I can’t explain why. Then I read the article Schwartz wrote before the election (mentioned here) and couldn’t believe this was the same author; I’m certainly glad he saw how the outcome helped create this monstrosity who very well may bring down democracy. I also watched this video when it first came out.
Unfortunately, the introspection of 1 man can’t do much. We need the introspection of the Republican Party, and we need public servants who want to serve the public, not gerrymander and lie to stay in office.
