If trend is something that everyone do then I think that's quite untrue (even the contrary Apple and the overall vibe of the stage are very different from what is trending nowadays). To my mind, I would even say that Gfriend has never really followed the trend. That's surely part of why fans love them and also why they are who they are.

i'm so upset about award shows last year. GFRIEND'S APPLE AND MAGO ARE LITERALLY ONE OF THE BEST RELEASES ON 2020 yet no award shows nominated even one of those songs like those two songs deserve so many awards;(( hoping for them to perform on award shows this year and win awards like daesang😭
