An amazing night of authentic Chicago blues with Luther 'Guitar Junior' Johnson & The Magic Rockers. The Magic Rockers are truly a who's who of the New England blues elite. This six piece band is Sax Gordon and Pat Herlehy on saxophones, Mudcat Ward on bass, his brother Peter (HiFi) Ward on guitar, George Dellomo on drums, and Matt McCabe on keyboards. The two sets, performed at the brand new Park Theatre in Jaffrey, NH, had the near capacity crowd wanting more. Both sets featured Luther's originals and blues standards covering his 60 year career. Outstanding. My wife and I used to catch his shows every time he would play at Johnny D's, and after that Thunder Road. I'll never forget those shows. He signed a record for me as well!
