I will say this I found Ryan's music from a random Seattle blog in 2015 when he was just starting with not much of a fanbase, but the first time I heard GodMode, I knew he had something special for real, I have an ear for talent and stars. The way he blended EDM and hip hop and now you see the steve Aoki song, it's just crazy to see the progression. But just like this song, he is talking about how his insecurities and feeling of not being enough is what fuels him to try to be great so maybe he can feel like he is enough, there is a hole he is trying to fill, and so many of us can relate.
But he is barely holding on, and he is opening up to us of the reality, the real behind-the-scenes struggles. It's like, you know this guy has put in so much work, people have no idea how hard he probably has worked and sacrificed. You have to respect it, this road isn't easy only for the crazy.
Wow bro I too discovered him in 2015 same way as you. Well said, You are angel and saw is Ryan. Whatever insecurities he and you and I have, his music comforts us on a deep level, I mean I at times feel guilty, cuz it’s coming from his expense of being able to be vulnerable and transparent. I assure he and maybe you are growing from these experiences. But I on the other hand, I am degressing ‘if that’s a word’ other than progressing. I met Ryan last year in London, man told me real talk and great advice, I was drunk and tried to portray my usual fake person while conversing with man, Dude told me to think of what am going to say before I say something as my other old close friend from secondly school once said. I still haven’t pull it into practice. As long as you are being you truly, yo will be fine, don’t be fake like me your cuz it will cause catch up with you someday somehow. @@TheEphraimUchiha for sure, I share the same feelings Ryan does in a way being an artist myself its a mix of talent and insecurities that drives us to become something. Ryans music is not only great and unique but the quality is so pristine I am from the same state, I had seen him once we both were at a g eazy album release in Seattle, and I had just found paradise a few weeks prior. I could tell he was scoping and planing his own rise that day, and so was I. I make similar music, peep my video lost in a high its a song a bout mental health and addiciton.
