No I didn't just have a heart attack, it was my feelings who were attacked... which is the same thing in this case
I first saw this without knowing anything about homestuck and was very confused on what's happening. But now I came back already at the beginning of Act 6 Intermission 2 and holy shit some parts are suddenly making sense and also this was even sadder than the first time I saw it.
The way that you're able to draw him in sync with such emotion and power is astounding, I'm so looking forward to more
wow. so first of all, this video got me into homestuck about a year ago when it was posted, and im still obsessed. and it is just??? so beautiful??? karkat is so karkat, all of the characterization is spot on and gorgeous, i got chills in the middle, and i nearly cried at the end. i have watched this video so many times and it doesnt get nearly enough attention. the art is gorgeous, the storytelling is seamless, and it just gives off an aura of homestuck. youve outdone yourself, mushie.

(Oh sweet Jegus!!! There you go again, making such great Homestuck content in 2019!!! You are an Unstoppable Force and I hope you continue the pump out this amazingness!!! (:B) This is so amazing to see, because again your style works well with telling the story that is trying to convey. That being this time telling the story of how Karkat felt over this long ordeal that is this webcomic. (Not to mention accompanied by one of the greatest musical artists of the fandom, with a totes baller song.) Displaying all of the Good, Bad, Dreadful, horrible, depressing, insightful and interesting times that this one troll had to face. As once a Leader...but later realizing, more as a friend. One that despite his attitude and harshness, was always there for everyone and tried to diffuse so many situations, some that he wasn't even originally involved in or a part of. *Showing all of the things that he ended up gaining, as well as losing on this journey.* It shows that all of the emotions that he ended up expressing makes him more than just a typical two-dimensional loudmouth of a character. I love how as the animatic progresses, just shows all of the relationships he tried to mend and all the ones that he ended up creating with other people. It's all done so subtly and perfectly!!! The end of course showing all of the friends and *(even go as far as saying)* family he ended up gaining in this game that he ended up playing, fades away. Showing him alone like it did at the beginning, but this time it shows a more confident Karkat, one that is not afraid or scared anymore. One that is ready to be the leader to all in this new world that he helped create. *.... Ready to be a friend for all as well.* It was also really cool to see all of the trolls in your style as well. The way you designed them all so distinctly and differently, goes to show how talented you are. Just keep up the good work!!! (I should have discovered this earlier..)

I don't think my disappointment could be any greater after having it revealed that Karkat fulfilled his great leader prophesy by leading the Trolls in revolution against... The Universe C Crocker corporation. Thousands upon thousands of years of Bloody Alternian dictatorship, with sex slaves, people being tortured to death with red hot irons in public, innocents being fed to giant monsters, and campaigns of galactic conquest. All that and they are telling us that what the Signless was prophesying all along, his dying vision as he was being flayed alive by the Condesce's goons, was that Karkat would one day deliver the Trolls from the oppression of human capitalism. Good lord Hussie, what have you let the shysters writing the Epilogues do to your baby?

In the original karkat's eyes were still there, but in this one his eyes were white meaning he's dead. Also I believe this means that it was pre retcon.

This may seem like a weird question to ask on this video, but what is retcon? I've been trying to get into homestuck but it's really hard with all my schoolwork. I don't mind spoilers if it is one.

The recon was basicly a do over that happened about mid to late comic. Originally with the way things had been going and the choices that had been made it would have resulted in a game over, which is what happened. However thanks to one of the characters ,John, gaining the recon power he was able to rewrite or 'retcon' parts of the story. This created a new alpha timeline and made it possible for them to reach the end of the game.
