Briggs intek avs knocking

Thank you for sharing! I’m glad I’m not the only one suffering.. I am going through the same exact situation with a 18 hp Intek. The camshaft decompression failed so that was replaced. Has no play in rod bearing, no end play, but has that same amount of play in the countershaft. It runs just like your most recent video. Very frustrating

thank you i just finished rebuilding a 19hp 540cc that i believe to have the same problem since it has no rod play

Can we buy the arms buy them selves or in a set ???
I bet the sump case is extremely high price????
They don’t share any information other than buy a new engine

I understand your frustration but you need to give up and buy a used twin. Smoother, Quieter,and more durable.

I to have been trying to figure it out and if that’s the reason they blow up
Tryed getting information from B/S and no answer at all, nothing but buy new engine and keep full of oil
A thousand should not be much difference is what I think
