Only at that level, he can't compete at the higher level so keep your expectations low. Example lng is Soft Kai Sotto, hangang high school level lng say nakapgchampion whereas in other levels BENCHED!!!!
@@MrDevilgodspeed i just appreciate at masaya ako sa naging performance nya dito. Ikaw b hindi? Lahat nman ng players dito magkkalevel. And yet nag-excel sya. Wag muna nating pag-usapan ang ibang level kc wla p nman sya don. But hopefully dadating din sya don. Parang si Kai, hindi porke magaling sya at nagchampion sa highschool level ganon na din agad sa higher levels. Unti-unti yun. Ikaw ata ang nag-eexpect ng mataas sa mga high profile players.

Definitely the Philippines has more talent in general than Japan. Congrats to them on getting to the semifinals. That said, they had very little to no coaching AT ALL. They won because they were more talented. If they go against a team that has the same talent level as Japan but taller, they won't be able to shoot over their opponents. They're going to need better set plays, use the picks, better motion. Their passing had no purpose. Most of the time, they played isos, like in the NBA. If you watched the latest FIBA tournament, that doesn't work in international play that's why USA lost. Philippines, you have talented players, please give these guys better coaches.
