Did you actually carve a "simple" heart or build up icing to form a heart? It's beautiful though.
Hi Julia.. Good question, thanks for being here.. I did attempt to carve the cake but it didn't work as I was going to lose more cake so I just filled it with buttercream using the heart shaped discs as a guide

Buy a heart shaped mold.
This is an alternative if your cake is too small
