TWO SENIOR LAW MEN REUNITE IN PARNNGURR COMMUNITY TO DISCUSS VACCINATION HESITANCY

Vaccine commander Chris Dawson came to the Newman yesterday to encourage Martu people to get vaccinated against COVID.
Mr. Dawson said those who are vaccinated are leaders in their community.
"Young ones are running around here, and I don't want them to get the disease.
The Pilbara region currently has the lowest vaccination rate in Australia, with less than 35% of the total population at double dosage.
For Pilbara Indigenous people, double vaccination rates are at 14.9%.
