#TürkiyeninGolfSahaları serimizin bu haftaki durağı, 1994'te açılan Marmara Golf Sahası.
Tasarımı dünyanın en iyi golfçülerinden biri olan Tony Jacklin' e ait, 18 çukurlu, 73 parlık 6245 metre uzunluğundaki şampiyona golf sahası içerisinde, dört adet par 3, beş adet par 5, dokuz adet par 4lük parkur bulunmaktadır. Sahanın 12 numaralı deliğinde fairway yoktur, onun yerine 50 metre derinliğinde bir vadi yer almaktadır. Arazide 0-60 metre arasında değişen kot farkları mevcuttur.
Doğal meşe ağaçlarının içerisinde kurulmuş olmasından dolayı engebeli ve zorlu bir saha olarak nitelendirilen ve özellikle profesyönel golfçüler tarafından tercih edilen saha, 1997-1998 PGA European Challenge ve 1999 PGA Beko Senior Tours gibi birçok uluslararası turnuvaya ev sahipliği yapmış ve Türkiye'yi temsil etmiştir.

This week’s course in our#GolfcoursesInTurkey series is Marmara Golf Course.
The course was opened in 1994. There are four par 3, five par 5 and nine par 4. The course is the championship golf course of 18-hole, 73-par and 6245 meters length, designed by Tony Jacklin, one of the best golfers in the world. There is no fairway at the 12th hole instead a valley 50 meters deep is located. There are level differences between 0-60 meters in the course field.
Regarded as a rugged and challenging course due to being established in natural oak trees, it is especially preferred by professional golfers, has hosted many international tournaments such as 1997-1998 PGA European Challenge and 1999 PGA Beko Senior Tours, and hostedmany international tournaments such as Turkey has represented.
