whole lotta shakin was jerry lee lewis not fat man that fats domino
Exactly
Absolutely correct
Jerry Lee Lewis did NOT do "FAT MAN" that was Fats Domino!!! Jerry Lee Lewis did "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going on"!!!
Even though I was born in 1972 I grew up listening to 1950's rock n roll and country music as well as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, etc. 🤣 🤣 🤣
I got more right than they did. Rod Stewart did not do knock on wood
Yes your right there were several mistakes
The 1979 version of Knock on wood was by Amii Stewart
Yes, and that makes only 8 that I missed. Some I guessed at because I knew the more known artists suggested never recorded the songs done by more obscure artists. I aced the Disco era because I loved, loved, loved the Disco Era.
lol so did I but not very good on country seems to be mostly USA hits but still got 81 right but agree with ami Stewart and Jerry Lee Lewis answers so would be 83
I know rite?
I agree the song Knock on Wood was originally done by Eddie Floyd but the Disco version was done by Amii Stewart and not by Rod Stewart
Heartbreak Hotel was Elvis Prestley
3 , The fat man was sung by Fats Dominino in 1949
The song 'The Fat Man' was actually recorded even earlier.
It was recorded in 1947, by Fats Domino.
Strawberry Fields by The Beatles
It was Elvis who sang HEARTBREAK HOTEL NOT Paul Anka
What a fantastic video have a wonderful weekend ❤😊
Someone needs to relearn their music history!
Paul Anka did not do Heart Break hotel in 1957, and Rod Stewart didn’t do Knock on wood in 1979. I should be quizzing you ,The Gladiolas could not be mistaken for The Beatles in 1960
87/100 & Strawberry fields was the Beatles !
93/100 The Beatles! I have a complaint: I looked it up and Amii Stewart did "Knock on Wood" in 1979, not Rod Stewart So I should be at 94
You are correct. Me too.
@@drbardman........And beacuse of that I should be 95 HAHA!!!!! .
Missed 9, technically 8 - Amii Stewart did knock on wood
No 21 Little Darlin by the Gladiolas was released in 1957 and how can it have been mistaken for the Beatles?
It was released by the Diamonds not the Gladiolas or the Beatles.
@@marshallvanstee4777 the original was by the Gladiolas having been written by their leader singer Maurice Williams. The Diamonds version is a cover
@@andrewhudson8966 I stand corrected. Thank you. I had seen the Gladiolas perform it, but somehow confused the Diamonds version with theirs.
The Beatles were still at school 😂
92/100. The Beatles
Quiz Class Radio Presenter. Born in September 69, so a whole lot of the 50s I didn't know . Plus, I'm not a blues fan, so I was lost there, too, lol. I had fun 😁
The Beatles released "Strawberry Fields Forever" in 1967. I got the Quiz Class Musical Awards Quizzer, as I got 96 right and 4 wrong.
The "H" is pronounced in "Peaches and Herb." It was his name. Shortened from "Herbert," actually. Still, the "h" is pronounced.
Oh, she's adding 'spices' to Peaches... H'mmm
90/100 The Beatles
Great!
Ditto!
Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' on was Jerry Lee Lewis. The Fat Man was a song by fats Domino
Interesting quiz, but too many simple mistakes!
The Beatles were behind Strawberry Fields Forever, I got 75, all answers right on Disco and R & B, country let me down badly, still I enjoyed it, thanks.
Very confused, thought Elvis sang Heartbreak Hotel and I didn't think Sir Rod Stewart sang that one song 😮
I scored 100%, but the lady giving the test scored 96%. I assure you there were at least 4 (maybe more) questions on the test that she gave the wrong answer, not to mention several missed pronunciations of the correct artist's name. Many artists she mentioned were actually dead before the song in question was recorded. I'd prefer a 20 question test with difficult answers...this became too long and boring. You can just call me a music genius !!
Well, that's gals for ya😂
nice trivia (if you had done you research) everyone who livedduring thesetimes the diamonds did little darlin' elvis on heartbrake hotel my 2nd fav of his

Boy, I hate it when folks post question without checking their answers first. I didn't do too bad. I had a little DJ experience back in the 60s. Found I could make more money doing something else.

The Beatles my score 96
I got more right than you did. If you want to give a quiz, then at least get your answers right.
Miaow 😂
21 The Diamonds
Let me correct this. The Gladiola's version was released in early 1957. THe Diamonds version was released about a month later. THe Gladiola's version The Gladiolas version peaked at No. 11 on the R&B charts in April 1957. The Diamonds' successful cover version followed a month later. The Diamonds' version reached number two in sales for eight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100.
A lot of these quizzes lately have been poorly researched so many wrong answers.
I missed 3
Wasn’t the Fat Man by Fats Domino?
The answer to question 3 is whole😂lotta shaking going on, and not fat man, which was a hit for fats domino.!!!!
3:31 Elvis is sang

Great score!
i think I did ok 100

Beatles 85
Most of the multiple choice answers were WAY Too easy!! Especially if you know music!! For example, the category is blues, and she gives 2 country artists and 1 blues artist. Now, guess which artist is the singer of the blues song! 🤣 🤣 🤣 Another example: Disco, she names 1 big band/swing jazz, 1 country artist, and 1 disco artist. Also, the 1 artist was dead long before the song in question was released! Now quess the Disco singer!! 🤣 🤣 🤣
I knew all but 4, because i didn't recognize the song or the artists. But i actually got 7 wrong because i chose the wrong artist who did that version on 2 of the questions. On the other 1, i chose the wrong band because I could not remember which one did the song.
The Beatles did strawberry fields forever.
I was born in 1972, so why did I do so well? I grew up listening to bigband, jazz, country, and oldies, and then when i became a teenager, i started listening to disco, blues, classic rock, classical, opera, folk, R&B, 1980's Rap, polka, and pretty much everything!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Got 90. Genre I missed most was Country. Second-disco. I hated both!
Who did Snowbird. ? 🇨🇦

Sooo many mistakes!! Didn’t finish it!!!!
Disco division? Well I'm disappointed.
Euro millions
Yes I thought so the quiz was incorrect
I stopped the quiz at question number 3, she does not know her music. the answer is Whole Lot of Shaking Going on. The Fat Man was Fats domino.
She was ? wrong on several
Peggy Sue was Jerry Allison's girlfriend.
I dated a girl named Peggy Sue when the song was released, but she was nothing to write home about. She had a speech impediment when she pronounced Sue... she'd say "Sue ahu, ahu ahu". Maybe she was the same girl that Buddy Holly was dating at that time.
You are correct.
@davearnold748 ooh, you are AWFUL, but i like you 😂
She didn't have a pilots licence, did she?
ok i got 90 one i didnt agree with
