I remember Kathy Van Zeeland!!! I had a carry on suitcase and a carry on rolling duffle from her that were so fun!! I used to travel to see my now-husband when we first started dating, we were long distance. I used to take a puddle jumper up the coast of CA to get to his town every month or so. I usually took my KVZ rolling duffle. It was ruby red and a croc print with lots of bling. One time the flight attendant said she always remembered me because I had such a beautiful bag lol. The carry on was pink, also croc print and blingy. I took it all over for longer trips, but the airlines seemed to really start getting tighter with the carry on size, and that bag is now too big for carry on with most airlines. So I decided to retire that bag, and my husband bought me a Tumi carry on for Christmas this year. It is really small and super light weight, hopefully I make as many memories with it as I did with my KVZ bags. They were fantastic quality. I will still use that pink one if I ever do checked bags.

Another great video! The leather quality and the key clasp make me think that you lucked out and got the original "OG" version of the Sydney satchel. Definitely if it has the credit card slots on the inside of the bag.

Thank you for watching…Yes, it is the “OG” version and I was really excited to see that I got it. I initially purchased the Midnight Blue on the Fossil site, but when it came, I wasn’t pleased. Took it to the Fossil store to exchange it but they didn’t have the blue one, but they had 3 black ones in store. Once I checked the bag to make sure it was a go, I then realized that it had the card slots inside and I was instantly excited because I thought they were discontinued!!! So this bag will forever be a bag I’d carry. I call down to the Fossil store at least once a week and I drive down there at least twice a month just to see if they’ve gotten any more “Originals” in. 😂 My SA actually knows me by name now

Good morning…well, I wouldn’t say I’m lucky, I was just fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. Hopefully your local Fossil store opens soon and once they do, call them before you go because if they do have the item you want, they will hold it for you. Also, check Poshmark or Mercari because I know for sure they have some of the “OG’s”…some may be pre-used, but it’s worth a shot. Also, try Macy’s because Dillard’s don’t carry Fossil bags anymore. Don’t give up on searching because there’s one out here with your name on it!
