Hauntingly beautiful! One of my favorite songs. It was first done by Dire Straits. Well, Home Free has a lot of upbeat songs. You might like their rendition of Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music. Or Can’t Stop the Feeling. This was put out for Veteran’s day a couple of years ago. Love it. Tim is amazing with this low voice.

Opening eyes to new verizons is a good thing !! Home Free's 5 part harmony can't be beaten

I totally agree! One of my goals with this channel (besides being a Ren superfan...lol) is to explore different genres of music, and introduce others to things they may never have heard before!

Liked and subscribed. This song should have won many awards. Very sobering song.

What’s striking about “Brothers In Arms” is just how much Knopfler manages to convey in a minimum of words. With startling efficiency, he inhabits the soul of a wounded soldier who muses on his surroundings and waxes philosophical as his life ebbs out. It seems likely that Knopfler had the Falklands War, which took place in 1982 between the United Kingdom and Argentina, in mind when he wrote the song. But by keeping specifics out of the narrative, he makes the song a timeless treatise on the senselessness of war.

Their most hauntingly beautiful song. Brings tears to my eyes every time. Thanks for the Home Free reactions.

❤🤠#HomeFree.Beatiful 🔥. It's okay not to like all genres of music, it's an acquire taste. I personally was not into Country but 🤠 HF convert me. Now I love Country an Acopella. Good honest reaction.

I don't dislike it, it's just not something I have really been exposed to before. I have a heavy metal background, so it's taken a bit of an adjustment. lol

Hi Ren, not all the music is for everyone.... we all have our own genre or genres and i appriciate your honesty. Something a bit more up your alley would be "Listen to the Music" by Home Free .... great beatboxing and a lot faster .... thanks for your comments, keep it up

I always liked the Dire Straits version, but I only got really interested in this song through Home Free. (Although I have to be honest I think Dire Straits guitar playing is phenomenal)
Yes, this version of Home Free will send shivers through your entire body! This is so emotional. Beautifully sung by Tim and Chance, but the background and harmony of Adam, Rob and Austin is also so beautiful. It looks like a choir or actually a kind of church organ sounds. And the whole setting of the video is just amazing. Simple but with so many details that makes it so profound

For a more active rocker, how about Listen to the Music, originally by The Doobie Brothers, covered by these guys. Or maybe U2's I still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For, covered by Peter Hollens and Home Free together.
