Exactly. That’s what I’ve been saying. The issue is not that it wasn’t intentional, it’s the reaction afterwards.
This is JJ's biggest downfall, one day he will meet a ref that doesn't tolerate his lack of precision. He gets to excited & starts going, which it leads to knockouts but the shots that don't connect flush loop to the back of the head, or fall short & you see an accidental elbow. Swarmz, Peneda or whatever, Temper, Joe, all of them have one thing in common & that's KSI banged them right in the back of the head. I know he doesn't mean to but he does it way to often & it's going to bite him in the ass eventually. It's easy to watch his fights & say oh they're complaining because they're getting bullied in the ring but the truth is KSI is looping shots & they are hitting them in the back of the head way too often.

Been sayin this exact thing. He would also benefit from being more accurate and stop looping every shot. It just ends up at the back of the head ans that leads to no flush knock outs. Like he couldve taken pineda out in 1 eound if he had decent fight iq that guy was so open to straight shots and turned around when the hooks came. Bur ksi just kept spamming the looping hooks. He either need to work the technique or hes coaches need to teach him better shot selection in the camps

Wow respect to you Viddal for speaking the truth. Them trying to say the glove landed first was hilarious and just wasn’t true. The elbow/forearm was a clean badass shot for mma lol but not for boxing. I agree, should be a no contest. Not a dq, a no contest. And does anyone else understand why Joe Fournier was so confident ? Was it like a false confidence because with the face to face and all the build up he (Joe) was so confident and even took JJ out of his super brash confident loud character he always plays, he almost like intimidated jj alittle bit to check himself on how he spoke to Joe in that face to face. For the weigh ins ksi showed up instead of jj and showed more of that bravado but yea I thought Joe was just outmatched anyway man. No one believed his dumb ass lol
They where just selling the fight. I easily saw through the false narrative that Joe was a “proper pro” and a champion. When in reality he is generally average at best.
The glove does look like it hit first if you watch it at 0.25x. Yes though, it should still be an NC because the elbow slept him completely, even though JJ probably would’ve won anyway. They should’ve either just admitted that it was an accidental elbow or not said anything at all to prevent themselves from coming across as untrustworthy.

Yeah i completely agree you can see how hard he worked through his bits of training we saw as well as in the fight and its horrible to see this small moment ruin it to an extent. He was doing absolutely incredible as well against fournier. Some tweeks im sure he can work on to improve but you can see he is improving and working hard in training.

Vidal took the words right out of my mouth. It is truly a shame to see JJ not show good sportsmanship by completely denying that it was a 'little elbow". Additionally, Mams honestly does not help JJ at times when I think it is his responsibility as a manager to keep JJ on track. Infact, he lets JJ to go down a rabbit hole which I don't get. I get that he is paid at the end of the day but so much for JJ's so called Legacy. If JJ is a try champion, he can still admit that it was an accidental elbow, instead of continuing to neglect what actually happened just so this does not count as a win. It sucks because JJ is such an inspiration for most of the yutes these days (including me) and it's quite disappointing when he does s*** like this.

I just feel like JJ is a solid guy who keeps having to apologize and make up for the actions and behavior of the people he surrounds himself with.
I truly believe straight after the fight the adrenaline kept him from having a good understanding of what happened. His team should’ve been humble.
I get what you're saying but at the end of the day jj is his own man who makes his own decisions. Yes he has some questionable people around him but saying he continues to apologize for the "actions and behavior of those around him" just sounds like shifting the blame of his own actions. That's the one thing that doesn't sit right with me the whole victory lap after the fight as if it was a traditional knockout. In the moment the adrenaline gets to you especially after the long work JJ has put into the training camp but after you see the replay for yourself you gotta sit there with your hands up and say it how it is.
