    If she bought Duolingo Plus and tried the stories, she would probably be confused as heck

      Going from JP to English is honestly easy mode. learning Japanese is so much easier if you grow up with it vs learning it as an adult...I've been studying it for months and I'm still not even close to the point of being able to use it beyond picking out words here and there.

    • @davin4811
      @davin4811 Před 3 lety +7

      @@JustiniZHere It's not easy mode at all honestly there is way too much difference between the Japanese language and English, also it's the same for any language you won't be able to use it if you has only learned it for a few months except for some amazingly hardworking people who's able to get good in just a year, i think 3 - 5 years is the norm to get at least decent on it if you learn it normally.

    It's purposely easy, because the picture association is supposed to make you remember the word better.

    • @Pepso8P
      @Pepso8P Před 3 lety +9

      But you have no reason to check the translation when there is the picture, they are doing it wrong. This way you are learning to associate a word to a picture, not to the translation.

    Wow these picture questions are stupid beyond believe.
    As if duolingo is trying to make fun of its learner.
    Like why does it ask to pick a strawberry IN JAPANESE to just show a picture of it. Thats a task you try with your toddler. At least it could have asked for it in English.
