I cried during your whole conversation with your mom. It is always so emotional for me to experience that we as humanbeings have all the same culture, the same moral values, the same wishes and dreams. We communicate all around the world with the same language, we believe in the same god and we all love in the same way. My mom from Iran loves me exact in the same way that your mom does and she has exact the same wishes for me as your mom has. I hope you get the chance to travel and see the whole world and share this love which joins us together as one.

Great episode! Glad to see you getting along so well with your mom. Opening up with my parents is one thing I yet have to figure out 😅
About the school VS no school thing.
I loved a quote my little sister told me a month ago. I was playing with my 1y/o niece (lil sisiter's daughter) and she was about to step onto spiky plants and I was about to freak out. My sister said: "There is no problem until there's a problem.". I calmed down and my niece stepped on one, made a little noise but kept on going. If I had reacted too much then she probably would have started screaming as kids oftentimes learn from our reactions. Or worse if I had stopped her completely then in the future she would have less intuitive feeling of what is good for her and what isn't.
Of course it's sometimes good to be cautious so I understand where your mom is coming from BUT if the risky path is the only one that makes you happy then go on, step on the spiky plants, and maybe your fanily will see that it wasn't so bad 😁
...or maybe you'll end up in ER for a while, your family will say "told you so" and it will be a bit embarrasing, but then you learned something and can make changes in your life later on with the new experience 😅 no one really knows which is the right choice 🤣 so fuck around and find out.

      @@graysonbrockk True story.
On his deathbed, a wealthy man faced his children's complaints about leaving most of his wealth to a poor woman. He reminded them: *education is the ultimate inheritance, unmatched by riches.* Money may vanish, but knowledge endures, empowering them with honor and dignity. Meanwhile, the struggling woman needed immediate support for her family's welfare.
Take a moment to honor your mother. Dedicate a couple of years to allow her to witness your growth, fulfilling the dreams she labored for years to achieve. It's her rightful gift but gifted to her with love, a brief pause before you resume your journey.
Indeed, it's a small request considering she carried you for nine months. No gesture can ever repay the pain of even a single kick in her womb.

@@graysonbrockk "O Messenger of Allah! I want to go out and fight (in Jihad) and I have come to ask your advice." He said: "Do you have a mother?" He said: "Yes." He said: "Then stay with her, for Paradise is beneath her feet."
Although Islam recognises both parents, mothers are given particular gratitude and respect. This can be appreciated if we reflect upon the hardships and suffering that mothers experience in their lives. In this regard, there is a Hadeeth of the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) :
It was narrated by Abu Hurayrah may Allah be pleased with him that a man came to the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) and asked him: 'Who is most deserving of my close companionship?' He sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) replied: *“Your mother; your mother; your mother; then your father;*
Grayson! bring solace to her tears and a comforting fulfillment to her heart by honoring her dreams for you and granting her wishes while she's still here to witness them.
If my mother asked I would move mountains with my bare hands just to see her smile.

Sry to say this but I recently find out about your channel and see this vid and the first thing crossed my mind was this movie "Me Before You", I shouldn't probably say this but I couldn't.
This interview was kind of a set up for what is coming in the future but u shouldn't post it before, because that puts a lot of pressure on u but from what I have seen u pass the line of self confidence so much, that I hope u don't reach the next line because that's called overconfidence...i honestly love to seeing u reaching your goal whether u interview people(I hope u doing better than Joe, not that he is not good but u know in terms of people cover their asses every 2 minute for political reason) or being a traveler guy.
I'm almost 29...I left the college...i was thinking like u until now, I mean I still thinking like that but more careful about it and considering other options very seriously because it could be gone to shit unbelievably crazy...anyway my case is very complex that I can't say is because I left the college if I wanna be honest to myself.

I love the relationship you have with your mom. It's a beautiful one, mashallah! (From God). Inshallah your mom will be shocked when you actually buy that beachfront house for her! I understand your mom's worries about not having a college degree. Doors do slam sometimes. It doesn't feel good. I do get the idea that universities are really taking advantage of students. I feel like students become indentured slaves until they pay their loans off. If they are able to. Youth with excellent health think they are going to make millions. The "Tate attitude" has taken over our youth. I wish all of them success in this world, but more importantly, in the next world. Too many believe success is fast cars, girls, alcohol, drugs, fornication. I truly don't see that in Grayson. I see he honors his body with health, he feels obligated to be successful, he works hard. He needs a plan. How will he become successful? He's headed in that direction. I believe he studies others who have been successful. ( Correct me if I'm wrong.) It's all trial+error in the beginning. With experience hw will grow, inshallah. As someone who's older, My advice to both of you is probably what you've been doing all your lives. Ask Allah swt to guide Grayson to something he loves that will make him successful in this life;but more importantly in the next. There is nothing wrong with having money; it's what we do with it is what matters. In my opinion, if a person wants to be a successful entrepreneur; the first thing they must do is charity. Pick any charity+give what you can afford right now;with the intention of pleasing Allah swt. (God). I know bakers who before anyone else they send bread to the poor, restaurant owners, feed the poor in their restaurants or send out to the homeless. If one's intention is to please Allah swt;your business WILL be successful, inshallah. Ask Allah swt for guidance knowing that he IS listening to you. Allah swt is waiting for us to ask him for guidance. If you+ your mom ask Allah swt sincerely for guidance +success in both worlds;he will definitely bless you with it. A parents orayer for their children is always accepted. Alhumdulilah. When? We don’t know, but we must keep asking til Allah swt blesses us. Ask, ask, ask then...wait, wait, wait. I pray this helps.

The best people to take knowledge from are the generation who witnessed the prophet and the 2 or 3 after, because they are purer, more noble, and saw the unfiltered events themselves, look up the book 'Sahih Muslim' (but only after reading it's origins and author), chapter: Merits of the Companions.
      Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) as saying:

You did good in not going to school. A champs move. I got a degree from Georgetown University and it did nothing for me. You still need Jesus though, you need the truth. Not just in part because the Devil gave the truth in part mixed with a lie (making it a whole lie). You need to believe in the truth in its totality. If there are any contradictions, there is a lie in the mix. You can’t keep looking at all these religions and think they are all true. That’s impossible. The Bible says there is only one way, one truth and one life and that is Jesus. You can’t believe in the Bible and believe in the Quran. You can’t believe in the Bible and Hindu, Buddhist teachings. It’s impossible because there exist contradictions and in the truth there is no contradictions

    • @fatimamarquez2974

It is written that through him (Jesus) all flesh was made. A man who is sinless can only save himself. And let me tell you, you need a Savior and you need to be born again for it is written that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. If Jesus is not God then he is the only one who is in Heaven with the Father. But because he is God in the flesh, he was able to save all humanity by dying the death we deserve and rising again. For Jesus was born of woman but his seed came from the Father and not from man, hence the virgin birth. If his seed is of the Father then the entire essence and being of Jesus is indeed the Son of God. What’s it to you if God so loved the world that He decided to come to earth to save it and make it new. What’s it to you? Is anything impossible for God?
