      Maybe people who don't think the video was helpful, the video was confusing, or a number of other reasons, disliked this. I am not one of the people who disliked it, but I'm just saying that people probably have a reason for doing that. And no, no one is a moron, Motasem Akasha. :)

      Maybe it was a person who was fed up with what often seems like arbitrary rules for the English language, specifically writing in a college class. I thought the first example he used was a perfectly worded sentence, made sense and was a great example of a good sentence however because this guy with the sweater on says it lacks parallelism, you can't use it. I thought what he changed it to, sincerely and passionately, was completely unnecessary and made the sentence boring, using two "ly" adverbs so close to each other in the sentence BUT now it has PaRaLlElIsM so it works.

    Excellent video. I played it to my college composition class. However, we're also trying to avoid comma splices in our essays, and your excellent video contains a comma splice: "University students use the internet to research essay topics, [sic] business people use it to hold video conferences."

    Nah, "he spoke sincerely and with passion" creates a bigger impact than "he spoke sincerely and passionately."
