Fresh off the triumph of solving her first case, Enola Holmes (Millie Bobby Brown) follows in the footsteps of her famous brother, Sherlock (Henry Cavill), and opens her own agency - only to find that life as a female detective-for-hire isn’t as easy as it seems. Enola movies are delightful and only getting better; can't wait to see MBB doing more of them. Really loved the historical significance of the matchgirls' uprising.
There is a Easter egg I found while watching, while enola was searching for the papers in the office at the beginning of the movie I saw a paper which showed a graph of profits and expenses, The expenses dropped 2 years ago and the profits doubled, Meaning to get such profits and even lower expenses they must've changes Material aka white phosphorus to red phosphorus which I was right at and found by enola at the late scenes of the movie

agreed. we have tons of iterations of Sherlock, modern and otherwise. just in the past 20 years we've had 3 huge adaptations. i want more Enola, i want more MBB lol.

It's almost IDENTICAL to the layout used in the series Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch!!!!
It looks more like a combination of BC's Sherlock's flat in the layout and RDJ's Sherlock's flat with all the clusters of oddities and general disarray.

@@dmittie9761 no, no the Cavill one i can say is the same as Beneditc, the windows placement, the fireplace, and even the kitchen that change to study room and there's one similarity with Downeys but not Sherlock's flat instead it's was tewkesburys that overbearingly lot of plants in the room reminded me a scene in RDJ's Sherlock

I like how they’re like: Oh there were 2 early clues! Honey there were LOADS of clues. The disfigured jaw, the red matchstick box, when they changed color compared to when tifus started, Mr. Macintosh covering his face with a hankershief whilst touring the factory, the plants that Sarah was keeping’s soil, the cheese, the fly’s, it was EVERYWHERE.
I’m thinking that Enola will become the head of the Baker Street irregulars that Sherlock continues to use in future cases. It would be socially valid for her to be a patron for a home of urchins, especially if she weds a certain young Lord she knows.

Love the movies and I hope they make more!
I adore these movies and hope that they make more, but the cast is filled with huge names and incredible sets with a fair amount of CGI which means they have probably been fairly expensive to make. It also means that the actors / actresses are going to have different things they are wanting to work on. Netflix is notorious for having shows and movies written that are set up for sequels and having to cancel them due to casting and budget issues. I was pleasantly surprised that they made a second movie, but I don't want to get my hopes up for more than a third. Amazing movies, I love them so much and love the empowering messages they send to young people.
I also felt that 221b has a similar layout and look to Benedict Cumberbatch’s version of the flat
But did anybody else notice that they seemingly reused the set for Sherlocks flat from the BBC series, or am I crazy and imagine things?😅😅

Pavlov related there that he used, among other conditioned stimuli, a buzzer, black square, mechanical stimuli, rotating object, “hooter”, whistle, lamp flash, even electric shock, and most often, the sound of a beating metronome. But never a bell.
They should have introduced her as Miriam Troy, that may have been a bit less obvious as anagram. the extra letters still work out; you can make "I'm Moriarty"
I think there will be a 3rd movie, there are easter eggs and the end of the movie to prove it. It says Mira Troy escaped, and introduced Watson.

I got 🤬 in the theatre scene when policeman shot the mirror coz he thought was looking at Emola I was thinking wtf how can you be that Dumb Stupid as the mirror was Not in disguise.

and another thing you missed was how she funded her business and how she fed clothed and sheltered her self in londen with no help or money because she never got paid or took credit in the first or second movie hell she couldn't even do one days work in the match factory
Actually, she does have money. At the end of EH1 she was paid the finder's fee for Tewkesbury by his mother, as a thank you for saving his life. That's how she could afford the nice apartment for starters and set up her business. I'm sure that money will run out eventually, but even if it does and she makes very little... say, in a 3rd movie: she's Sherlock's ward still. I'm sure she is getting a stipend of sorts. Then, or already.

I think Enola is awsome and I would like more movies like that also a Sherlock Holmes movie in that universe might be fun BUT it would be sad if everybody had to watch a Henry whats his name movie to be able to understand the next Enola movie. Seperate movies can be good but I really hope they don't make it a tagled universe like the tiresome marvel mess.

Although I enjoy Enola Holmes, I didn't like the transgendering of Moriarty or the ethnic changes to him/her or John Watson. I would have preferred to see a tantalising relationship between Sherlock and John hinting at something, but never revealing anything.
it is no surprise that Henry Cavill made a very sympatic Sherlock Holmes. he brings it to all his roles. I would like to see him as a villain or sex symbol. just to see if he can.
Fluff, bur enjoyable fluff, but please less self satisified smugness and work harder please. The costumes were awful, ill-fitting, thrown on, as if you didn't care.
