I feel like you'll have a hard time without underdog, it's probably the best perk in lone wolf. Without it, enemies will get +5 chance to hit per adjacent ally up to 25. Enemies with backstabber will get +10 per adjacent ally up to +50 hitchance! That is basically better than any other perk there is.
Steel brow is also considered an essential perk for battleforged characters. Otherwise, due to the low hp, a single head hit with a mace, hammer or axe can give you a injury that loses you the entire fight. Especially brutal against barbarians later where even reavers wield those weapons.

Underdog would be a good perk to choose. Would be worth switching out instead of path finder

@@ImpactEasy I think you'll see later that "mobility" perks like pathfinder and footwork are ultimately not worth it: Against few enemies, you basically don't need it. Against lots of enemies, they'll swarm you and give you no room as well as drain your stats so you don't have the 25 fat. Rememver that you can always just walk a tile even while you're in zone of control. The opponents will get an attack of opportunity, but when your mdef is high they shouldn't hit you most of the time.
Btw, here's an example of what a lone wolf build could look like:
      Lvl 2: Student
      Lvl 3: Colossus
      Lvl 4: Fortified mind
      Lvl 5: Axe Mastery
      Lvl 6: Underdog
      Lvl 7: Battleforged
      Lvl 8: Lone Wolf
      Lvl 9: Reach Advantage
      Lvl 10: Recover
Lvl 11: Killing Frenzy + Steel Brow
With this build, you'd focus on roundswinging with your axe to maximizethe 25mdef you get from reach advantage. Since even with iron lungs and potions you'll run out of fat after a few rounds, you also need recover.
Your LP really got me in the mood for playing, I'm currently trying a fatigue-neutral build with Hammer and Sword Mastery instead of Axe and Recover. With iron lungs, a blue potion and a famed great hammer or warsword with -fat per use I'll be able to use one 3-tile attack every turn without ever needing to recover. Other than the greataxe I'll want to stand in a corner here, not in the middle. Sword mastery is neat in that riposte is also fat neutral, either with a "-1 fat per use"famed sword or a blue potion.

I was having doubts about your choice of footwork as a final perk, but it has proven to be very useful.
Love the series, keep on going!

I would probably switch out paths finder and kill frenzy for adrenaline and recover.

@@ImpactEasy i know that it is late to say something, but i think underdog it that case would be one of the most important perks, cause you'll pretty often be surrounded.

Watching the two videos of this series inspired me to do my own run. A few learnings (from about 12 hours):
    1. The early game is hard (until Battle forged imo). No clue how Mr. Impact managed the first few fights that easy. I had to safescum a ton of time. (its ok, it was a run for fun.)
    2. Since you never get to be more than one man the game believes you to be weak and gives you on every accepted mission only the minimal amout of enemies meaning 7 thugs, 7 cutthroats, 7 thralls, 3 direwolfs, 5 weberknechts, 6 iffrits, 1-2 unholds, 1 lindwyrm and such.
3.Despite that it is willing to pay you according to your renown. I killed 6 thralls and a babarian king for 5k gold. Money is easy to be found, beyond a certain point.
    4. Certain enemies are easier to defeat than in usual runs. My char could slaughter an obscene amount of Nachzehrers for example. (no spoilers though)
    5. Other enemies are impossible to defeat beyond a certain threshhold (everythibg above three of the following: frenzied hyenas and direwolf, unholds, gladiators and mercenaries). Surprisingly these enemies are rather managable below this threshhold.
    6. I dont get why goblin wolfriders are so strong. Fuck goblins.
7.The "Anticipation" trait might be useful, since all the rolls are too juice to be skipped for something annoying like ranged defense. Nonetheless even after slaughtering 10 bringands with ease, 4 kiting Archers can prove an almost insurmountable problem.
    8. The "Fearsome" trait seems not sad good. :..(
    9. Soloing a Lindwyrm feels great. Sadly I do not believe that any build can beat one reliably (meaning without safescumming). But it feels sooo gooood.
    10. Battle Brothers is fun until the grind starts to get annoying.
    Ah!
    11. Day 120 and no lategame crisis triggered.

It's a tough challenge. But I do think at a certain point the game soft locks due to challenge and luck running out.

Any plans on getting a 2nd hedge knight ? That would be twice the slice 'n' dice ;D PS: here, have a sub

No not on this run. If we try this challenge again I may hire a few elite bros.

If you wanted to go sword it might be worth making a duellist with riposte or lunge instead of going 2-handers just because riposte could theoretically give you 12 attacks per turn and the fencer build is also kinda just cool and based and would give you mad style points.

i think recover would be the best option. because you ran out of stamina fighting necromancer so easily
