  • Momentum is growing on Capitol Hill to pass paid medical and family leave nationwide. This week, a petition was delivered to all members of Congress. Organizers behind the movement are calling on voters and legislators to prioritize paid leave on a federal level during the upcoming election.

    How is it any employer's responsibility to pay you for not working. Holding your position temporarily is respectable, but even that shouldn't be expected or long term.

    More paid leave, more people can be employed, more disposable income, will spend more. Like washing machine on fast. More money in the system instead of the insanely wealthy taking more and more out of the system.
