It's hair time! So today we're using a Feria hair color, it's Smokey Silver S1. It looks gorgeous and i'm hoping it works out nicely. What do you think?

@@JennODonnell so i did it, turned out kinda crazy interesting, dark purple where i had originally been highlighted (the one time i really splurged at a salon months before... can we say a girl in need of change with a stimulus check?) so i used dish soap, cant lie it was palmolive not dawn like they say online) and it was AWESOME, for a day... then back to brassy roots and no silver... these past 3 days? i have bleached it , toned it with wella t10, still brassy- for me... bought splat silver and scared as ducks :) want to try this again but just not sure how to know if its the correct color as is to take... is there a picture chart you know of so i could see expected results that you know of? im naturally dirty blonde roots/ toe head ends, groing up, but my roots seem to grow in darker as i got older, havent seen my og color since 95. but its straighter than straight, not too dense as in fullness and fine so cuticles open up more... sorry if this a crazy ask, but i love your videos and i figure why not see if you would hit me back, which u did n i love now i hope im not asking too much? just wanna know what to do next :)
just a lil side note, totally showed my mom ur vid and shes doing it too lol (not sure about being 37 and walking next to my mom with the same color, maybe your video was TOO good)

What tonic shampoo did you use?
I just bought a box and THEN googled reviews and outcomes lol. Not that it would matter in my decision making at this point, I’m determined to fix the disastrous “silver highlights” I asked for at the salon to bring my now natural silver/grey/white hair a bit more drama. I was left with a beigey wheat color highlights and I now don’t trust any stylists to accomplish my inspo pic. (I paid $360 for highlights and it looked miles better before I sat in the chair!) Your video was the first one I clicked on and I’m now extremely hopeful!!! You did a fabulous job!! TFS!

What Toning Shampoo did you use? the one you said you used in the beginning
I'm trying this color either today or tomorrow, hoping it comes out as good as yours did! I have light ends but the top is like yours. I'm going to bleach before I dye it (I always do if I have to). Really nervous as I've never done grey/silver,I've done white but that's different. It's really gorgeous on you!
The difference between semi permanent and permanent is that permanent has peroxide. It lifts everytime you dye your hair which really isn't good for you since you've already bleached it. I'd stick with semi permanent or even demi permanent.

I dont want to go thru the whole grow out thing.. roots and all will take so long This? the box looks light and dark silver. My roots are dark and light...think I may take the plunge. In person is there light sliver and dark silver in your hair? Im doing it over bleached blonde hair. I really liked even in your after one wash photo.. How did it do a few washes later?

Why did it fade so much with one wash? Did you use any specific products? Hot or Cold water. I ask because I’m going to use this product. Thanks. :)
Hi! I’m not sure why it faded so much so quickly! I used lukewarm water and color safe shampoo but it still faded so quickly. I’m not sure what else I should’ve done. Maybe not wash it for longer?!
Don’t use this product, I used it and it also faded for me after one wash
I did this color I love it turning 65 I wanted to jazz it up but I had to bleach tho
This is one of my favorite colors. But you’re right, if your hair isn’t very light, you’d have to bleach. Do you love this color too? How often do you recolor?

Hi Jenn I started with this because I liked Richard Gere's hair color if anyone knows how he gets that hair done I would luv to know it... For now ill be doing this Smokey Grey and will see how it goes. BTW I think you are very pretty as far as the girl on the box, those girls are aliens, I will always prefer girls like you - if it was between you and her? it be you every time, be encouraged those women don't look real and thank you!
Thank you for your kind words. I really liked using this color and it turned out great. It did have a bit of a purple color, though, and I don’t know if that’s what you want. Good luck to you!
Always use all of the hair dye in your bottle no matter what and always leave boxed hair dye in your hair for 60 minutes.
