Before this, I had only heard Constant Motion and Panic Attack, and Dream Theater was already my favourite band. This just makes them even awesomer. Lol Mike's in track pants =D

This is the studio version - it is actually, paired down quite a bit. There should be more evidence of panning in both left and right speakers as is in the original. There’s more there but I’m not a damn producer. Just someone who records music (hell I need one lol). But I know enough to comprehend this is ridiculous. This is otherwise identical to the studio version. Someone just literally uploaded the original audio and synced it as closely as they could to this video. Come on… I am sure someone already pointed this out and I missed it because I have horrific insomnia 😅 Anybow, well it’s still a fantastic song! One of my favorites! 🤘🔥☠️
Saw these Saturday night in Wolverhampton. Needless to say, they absolutely kicked ass, 10/10. Mangini was god-like and seemed almost stunned by the amazing reception he received after his solo and Ytse Jam. Second, Labrie's vocals were stunning and pretty much pitch perfect; even throwing in a few high notes for free! It was the first time I'd heard this song and they played it magnificently. I don't think we have anything to worry about.
Let's not forget a few more important things that factor in here: a healthy dose of power, spine-tingling melodies and hefty amounts of atmosphere. "Forsaken": putting the "power" back in "power ballad".

@thericecrispy2 , I think its due to the layers of tracks they do. You'll see that Mike and John add their vocals to the track as well. Pretty wicked song. The piano opener is just haunting.

Actually, the only musician in the band who attended Juilliard was Jordan Rudess. All three founding members - Petrucci, Myung, and Portnoy (former member) all attended at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. Only LaBrie did not took any music lessons in the U.S. since he's Canadian.
@metalopolis1 No he did leave. He wanted a break but the band wouldn't let him because they wanted to start recording then shortly after tour again. So mike just called quits. So now he's just stay A7X. And before anyone says anything HE DID NOT LEAVE DT FOR A7X

I just dont see them ever having the same greatness without Portnoy, I mean the guy along with Petrucci wrote almost every DT song, I seriously think they made the wrong move in not letting him back in.
I sort of agree with "sickstix182." Although the vocals can be good sometimes, such as on the epic that is "Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence," I personally think that Dreamtheatre are at their peak when they are instrumental (i.e. Dance of Eternity)
