idk what kind of drug does sk8 the infinity has but skating has been living one my mind rent free since i started the anime 🧍♀️
Buy a deck, trucks, bearings, hardware, wheels, and griptape. Fall. Fall over and over, but never quit getting up.
@Akvile Grazuole If you're willing to keep at it, do. Also think about what kind of skating you want to do. Some wheels are soft and some are hard, both having different purposes.
@Akvile Grazuole You should! There's a bit to consider, such as what you want to skate (downhill, street, ect.) and your prefered size of deck. SHOE SIZE =/= BOARD SIZE. I'm a man with a mens size US13 shoe, but I'm skating an 8.25" wide deck, while some ride 8" or 7.75" at my size. I tried 8.5" and it's too tough for making the deck flip. I reccomend using google to find LOCAL skate shops. Tell them it's your first time and that you want to stand on a deck to see which size works best for you.
Next comes wheels. Wheels are measured with a durometer to determine hardness. Harder wheels can do slides easier and softer wheels have more grip, but the width of the wheel and shape also determine how much grip you get. Also larger wheels travel faster than smaller wheels.

Me and my sister decided to buy skateboards (all because of the show) and we're both currently learning 😭🤧 we got the basics down like how to push off, turn and how to stop. So far it's been really fun.
