At first I was meh about Busey's acting in this, but while watching the sequels - boy, did I wish him back.
oh man, as a pastry cook and baker this movie always drives me up the wall w/ all the errors but this is one of my favorite reviews of yours! a few things: i do wonder how much of a nightmare gary busey was to actually work with given how much material they actually got from him in the final product & his status as being legendarily hard to deal with. i also definitely think that evil dead reference was intentional too, the actor imo looks pretty similar to bruce campbell, not 1 to 1 or anything but given how pronounced his jawline and chin are it's definitely something they were going for. anyway, great vid phelous you're the GOAT!
I recently got into the Puppet Master movies, so it's nice to see brief clips from them! And that this movie is the same production company is really neat!

I will always find it funny that out of all the places this movie could take place in, they chose Waco, Texas. As if our town ain’t notorious enough, lol!
I mean really usually it only takes the fact that Gary Busey's involved in something to get my attention.
The fact he's also a puppet killer gingerbread man is certainly adds a bit to it. I remember seeing this at numerous video stories but never renting it.

It would be funny if they tried to make a huge gingerbread house with all that cursed gingerbread mix. Like big enough to actually go inside, and they did go inside it. Then the house trapped them inside and tormented them.

It's a re-edited reupload. Presumably copyright bots flagged the video so Phelan had to trim down the amount of movie footage used. The review originally came out in December 2013.
