The reason they don't put the colour name on the developer bottle is because this would hugely increase the amount of work needed at the factory and increase the cost of ordering labels therefore increasing the cost of product. They use the same bottle in every box so that they can use the same labels and filling line. Boxes are packed by hand. Used to work in a hair dye factory and I remember the chaos when there was a formula change and we would have to put stickers on the boxes
I love revlon. They have the only black hair dye that actually stays in my hair and never fades. I’ve tried so many expensive hair dyes, professional and even henna but nothing stays and looks better than this $4 dye❤

I get why they don’t put it on the developer bottle because it’s mass produced for multiple colors but a really easy work around for it would be to put two little stickers with the color and info that we could easily throw on there. It would be such a simple fix and greatly appreciated. Im glad you’re bringing it up. 🖤💕

I'm in Taiwan right now where fashion colors are much easier to find in permanent box dye form than semi-permanent, and I've gotta say, not having to deal with as much color bleed in my perpetually green hair has been amazing so far. I really wish hair dyes in the U.S. market weren't so weirdly consolidated into certain types of colors only being available in certain formulations when, looking outside our niche a little, the chemistry obviously isn't a limiting factor.
That dark blue was absolutely gorgeous 🔵💙. I've fallen in love with XMondo Sapphire. Another beautiful dark blue shade 🔵💙. Thanks again for doing all that you do. I always see what you think about things before I even think about trying it.

I just dyed my hair with the light pink shade from this line and I’m literally in love with it! I definitely don’t plan to get rid of it any time soon but it’s good to know it will likely come out easy.

When I say my eyes nearly popped outta my head when you showed the finished results after bleaching! 😳😮
They came out of the hair real well ! The only thing I'd be worried about is having to do a 20 vol for a deposit...unless you just replace the developer for a 10 ! Revlon also has a cotton candy pinky that I've been dying to try but I preferr to stay away from developer when I'm not lightening my hair !

I know this is an old video but it came across my page and I use that purple color! It fades really fast unfortunately but it does fade to a pastel purple sometimes silver and it's still pretty!

Ive been looking at these for awhile! just bleached my roots and need a good perminant color to blend and tone some of the unevenness lol. i love how you didnt change your mind on box dye after you got liscensed ❤

I was religiously addicted to the blue black when I dyed my hair black through middle and high school and beyond. After I went red, the Cherry Crush is my favorite, can only find it at walmart though. Feria and other box reds always washed out super fast in my hair, but cherry crush honestly STICKS to my hair, especially my regrowth.
I saw Revlon "Metallics" colors at my Dollor General the other day and was very curious as to how they turn out. Maybe a future idea to try? LOVE YA GURL!! ❤🧡💛💚💙💜

colorsilk feels gentler to me ngl it doesnt stink as much and my head doesnt get itchy as much as other stuff made it

I used the pink and it was nice.
Used the electric blue on my hair that was previously hi lifted to light ashy brown. The blue did color the brown, but turns into a very dark navy blue with blue tones in the sun.

I just used Revlon Deep Burgundy 34. It is so pretty at $5/ box! I love the conditioner it comes with too.
Love all the colors. Wish I was better at bleaching my hair. I am always turning orange.
When you try box dyes can you also test them on brown hair so we can see what the color would look like on regrowth. Since you have to use the whole bottle.
I just bought these at Winco a couple of weeks ago. They were $4! On. Whim used them I did purple shadow root with the pink. It turned out much better than I thought. They didn’t last that long for me about the same as semi-permanent. They faded very pretty also!
Hi I have tried this and I love it. I use to use Splat for dark hair but I can't find it anywhere so I saw this is Target and decided to try it. I have tried it with and without bleaching my hair. I like the color better when my hair is bleached. I always use the electric blue.
I have red hair, going grey. I wanna try that peach to spice it up a bit.
I wonder if some of these packages could at least come with an extra sticker to put on the developer bottle once you’ve mixed it - if there is some reason they don’t want to have to label the bottles themselves.

I was obsessed when I first saw these. I wanted to have a purple with silver blue moment. I bleached my hair and dyed my hair, but it didn't stick for me. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I was devastated. I'm gonna have to try again soon 😭
Wow. I just used Féria Smokey silver in my bleached hair. It was shiny pretty but faded. I knew it would . I used it as a toner in a way because I’m grey and white naturally now. I’m intrigued by the lavender grey toner which is at Walmart too because the grey dies have a blue purple base which can turn a little green . Purple grey may work better
I used the pink one and I really liked it. Mine did wash out pretty fast but Im guessing because my hair is so damaged.
You should try on this on dark hair , This looks fine on 7 levels and lighter .
Hey Girl!! I love Revlon. I have the dark blue color on my ends. I dyed it about 6mon ago and its still that blue. Its lasted longer then my Guy tang direct dye I have in my hair. So I'm probably going to go over my other colors with these shades. Because they stay so long. I don't need to keep retouching up my colors. Ty And One Love ✌🏼❤🧡💛💚💙💜🖤

When I used to do my hair black I used the Colorsilk it was the only one that didnt leave my hair green (ahhem clairol)
I used purple, pink and blue from Splat. In love with the purple. The blue faded fast, but not the purple is vibrant. I didn't even pre-lighten. My hair is naturally a lighter Ash color with more than a little grey. (I'm 48)
my hair is dirtyblonde naturally i dyed my hair while it still had some red in it lol it just turned into this darker sort of pink tinted red still way better than my dull normal hair ngl
Have you tried the Got to be box dyes at walmart? They have a lot of different shades and not just pastles
I just bought the dye today and am trying out the electric blue. I was doing a root touch up and couldn’t get my hair light enough it probably rose to a light bronzy brown and i have 4c hair and dont want to damage it even more so… we’ll see how it turns out
I would be interested to see another round of bleach after it’s been on the hair for a few weeks. Idk if that would make a difference but I’m just curious.

I used some of it the day of the 4th and washed it with color care shampoo and conditioner with cold water and it's already fading (I haven't bleached my hair in 2 months and it was pretty blonde already)
I have light brown hair to dark blond hair I use Revlon number 4 to bleach my hair. It asks you to start with your roofs first. My hair does turn a strawberry blonde color at my roots. But how I tone it I use L'Oreal Smokey blue it's a die bleach combination. So I apply it to my whole head it lasts about 21 days but I get all of these beautiful washout Blues to Silver's to White when I'm done. By the time 21 days is up I have a nice shadow root of natural hair color. I've been doing this for about a year I love it. Since I don't know anything about hair I have no clue why it does this. I have used the electric blue one and it is as gorgeous as your video shows, but sadly they also fade just as fast as semi permanent colors...might last a little longer but not much,

I got the peach and it’s more orange and the purple was too dark and my hair is already agolden blonde color

can these developers be replaced with a 10vol so it's just a direct dye without lightening the virgin hair 2 shades? Or can box dyes only use the developer that comes with it?
