    Must be a joy to work with epoxy, the finish product looks class.

    • @Zomby_Woof
      @Zomby_Woof Před 2 lety +1

      It looks great, but it's not the joy to work with that it might appear.
      The fumes are terrible.
      Paint fumes I can tolerate epoxy makes me feel like I have pneumonia.
      Don't get it on anything you don't mean too - if you do, just throw it away.
      Once it dries, you'll need an angle grinder to dislodge it.
      And vertical surfaces are a special problem.
      It will run and sag almost so long as it takes to cure.
      I used to use it to encapsulate marine fuel lines.
      It would drip off the lines, forming sharp stalagtites that I would have to grind off, otherwise if you ran a hand along the pipe it would be shredded.
      It's a material with some unique properties, but you have to have the right application, tools and technique.

    I much prefer the veined design over the blotches. How durable is this? Will it crack over time with weight on it?

    If you gonna do this at your home for display purposes & never walk on it, kudos to you. Once you start getting scratches from rocks stuck under your shoes, you will begin to hate your floors. I don't think it's sustainable for a few yrs. However, it is very pretty looking.

      This is not a good application for those surface because it will just run on the vertical surfaces. They are coming out with a vertical surface epoxy later in the year.

    Honestly I watched so many of your videos and I love the way you guys go step by step and every crew follows suit and follows the same system of application!! Though when I watch other epoxy videos whether it's DIY or even some professionals they look like train wrecks scrambling around running around scrambling like they're using hydraulic concrete and it's going to set up in 3 minutes.. can be amusing but it's painful to see a homeowner pay all that money and it looks like garbage.

    What kind of preparation is needed ? What all comes with this kit or do you need to purchase seperlety ? I see special shoes , and a extra long handle roller is needed. Is this safe for home kitchen counter tops where food will be in contact ?
