This is just wonderful. I have an Outlander, which is a SUV so we know it's not an offroader but I still love it. What I would love even more is to try the big brother L200 on an off road rampage. My next car might be the L200. Have fun.

L200 has been the best value pickup for a long time and even the newest models are some amazing trucks. hilux are a close second but just way too expensive
Both trucks are great! They make around 170 horsepower. You don't need these 400 horsepower fuel hungry V8s which Americans are obsessed. Yes, V8s sound great and have lots of power but these 4 bangers can do the job without any problem!
All the Hilux needed was a better driver. I've driven standard equipped Nissan Frontier, Isuzu D-max, Toyota Hilux and Mitsubishi L200 pick-ups in the Amazone jungle in wet and dry seasons. All I needed were MT or good AT tires and two fellow avonturers (to push the vehicle in case it got stuck or assist when crossing streams or broken bridges: So far, I've never needed a winch). All of the above mentioned pick ups will take you to your destination. Where there is no path, we left a trail.
Si saben analizar, claramente GANA la L200. Con gomas no aptas para el barro, demostró ser mejor que la Hilux con BF Goodrich All Terrain. Mitsubishi power!

So, about 200 miles off road on a full tank of gas with your Bronco. That's decent mileage for a 600+hp. But, you know for a fact that you're a good off road driver in the wild when you "only have 120 hp". With 600+hp you don't know for sure. In my opinion the vehicle is doing all the work. Besides, about 20 miles to the gallon makes a big difference in the wilderness.
the l200 seems to have competed well with the hilux. in the end the hilux made a bad ass show off!!!! should have compared it to the l200 sportero. same era of technology to hilux.

Here in Mew Zealand we call this model of Hilux the sheep shagger because they are shit on and off road. Stick to the model pre-2004 and you should be walking through this stuff

But despite all that the Hilux gets all challenges done. imagine if it was the top of the Line Hilux, it would piss all over the Mitsu. Either way I know 20 years from now the Hilux would still be running and the L200 would be in a junk yard, being there 10 years a go.

L200 for sure. Even L200 only used an oldschool engine 4D56T compared to hilux 1KD/2KD, but L200 has a better lower gear transmission.
Over here in Australia Mitsubishi L200’s are called Tritons, but Jees i think they are great!
