Can I just say hats off to you. Not just because of a really good video but I really like how you didn’t show her butt as you guys were walking into the sleeper. Almost everybody does that and I just don’t think it’s a worthwhile. You showcasing a vehicle not a person. That was a very respectful thing to do, and shows a lot about a person.

Yeah biggest issue is home time. We live in Texas. So there is hardly ever any home time, if we lived Midwest or east coast even it would be much better.
I'm not sure where the loads are for Panther to be honest.

If I had a truck like this.. I'd use it for work. Occasionally drop the trailer off at home and take the Semi to a camp ground.
Can you put a regular trailer or flatbed on this thing without going over the length limits?
Bridge law is just for the trailer length , truck can be as long as you want , trailer just can't be longer than 41ft from kingpin to center of rear axle. I learnt that in Florida while getting a bridge law ticket 😂
How much weight can that carry when loaded im guessing 30,000? In the trailer
I love these trucks. So lets talk about the side door. Unless you are going in and out it's kind of a wasted space.
Build a cabinet that's half as deep as the door space. It locks in place and fills that empty space. Time to use the door? Ok. You pull the cabinet and via track on the floor or other type of guide system it pulls out then goes sideways once the back clears the front of large wall cabinet it slides left (forward) covering that cabinet. Door is clear and seeing as the cabinet was only half as deep you can still slide by to get into the cab and used the bathroom...
I like that. Maybe even add a desk. Something.
I think the side door would be very convenient for doing laundry, and loading and unloading stuff from your house or even groceries. Speaking from experience as the one who restocks the truck, it's a pain to have to sit down and get around the steering wheel to get in and out with stuff in your hands 🤷🏼♀️

@@TruckandTravel 100% My "moving cabinet" idea keeps the door just as it is. You just use the space as storage when it is closed. The cabinet moves in an L shape. First it moves out of the door space. (The bottom of the L) The to the right (Forward in the truck towards the front. The top of the L)

This truck goes for around $375,000. It is an automatic. Not sure what the mpg is. Yes, a driver would need a CDL A to drive this truck.

@@georgeandy6923 Yes, but you would still be restricted by law to 80K Lb. Gross weight. Consider LTL Freight or a super light weight commodity. I once did OTR as a contractor for auto parts stores "Pep Boys" with a weekly nationwide route that had 27 stops. That freight paid well, was light weight, but you would have to alley dock your pickups & deliveries. Something like that would be perfect for this tractor.

When you are showering where does the water go
Has a tank but it's not the same as a RV tanks. You can also make it drain straight to the ground from the sink and shower only. Prohibited in some states.

I can attest that the amount of money spent on the truck balances out quality of life, physical and financial well being. I lost 30lb on our truck not eating crap in a sack. We grill out 4 days a week with the Forman grill and prep a roast or turkey to eat over the other 3.

Hey guys I heard about the awful train derailment hope all is well, I know how you guys love your well water is that still safe to drink?
Our well water most likely is affected by chemicals that farmers put in the fields. We are on the other side of the state that had the train derailment ment, as of now we are safe from it. We might stop taking loads to that part of the country though. We feel bad for everyone affected by this.

I like it when you guys take time off to do regular videos on other vehicles I think that’s really cool, love you guys hopefully will see you at the expediter show in Fort Wayne Indiana. Hopefully I will be walking normal by then. I hope to have my knee replacement surgery in a couple of weeks. Once that happens I will be not driving for 2 1/2 months.

CZcams doesn't pay much. We was originally gonna drive for them years ago. People ask alot where they can start, so it felt like a good fit for our channel.
