You are not well right? If they chose to. you can be tortured, killed or simply executed. Becoming non-religious has the death penalty in the eyes of iranian government. They use rape and shooting ( specially girls) in the eye as a policy.
In iran 70% of iranians hate islam .... the islamic clergy will be lynched when they get the chance.

As a British Iranian born and raised in London and a practicing Muslim. I'm quite shocked by how apathetic some of these opinions are. I recommend they watch videos of interviews with Muslim converts. Islam from the point of view of western christian converts is quite fascinating. I wonder If these kids were raised here in the UK and suffered everything we suffered just to maintain their Deen, such as being forced to defend their faith from childhood in school, being probed about exactly why we do everything we do as Muslims, needing to be able to answer the hard questions when interrogated by Non-Muslims throughout our lives up into adulthood, perhaps then they wouldn't take their Deen for granted?

The problems isnt about islam, younger generation slightly shifting to more less conservative and secular society after anti hijab protests, anti government and anti islamic morality police protests, this is the years after those protests. Iranian heritage nationalism rising and younger generations barely take islam seriously anymore. Especially after the death of Mahsa Amini becoming the catalyst of "apathetism"
Iran originally was secular nation before becoming islamic republic after revolutionary, when liberalism doesnt work, people change to conservatism. And now when conservatism doesnt work, people are attempting to shift back to liberalism again
Now if theres someone to be considered that are more apathetic would be yourself.

@khalidarsalanbaibars2722 depends of what you call atheist. But i would say in cities most people don't identify as muslim or religious anymore. some regions are more conservative like the baloochs. But going so far to say this vast majority believe in nothing supernatural at all would go too far. But islamic religion has been executed lol in the last decades. Iranians know things about islam which others don't or don't care about. I think that there are still many who think there must be something but definitely not mohammad or quran. The older people may not care about religion in many cases, but still i find there is still some sorts of superstition.

Iran's religious history is very fascinating! The faith of the Prophet Zarathustra (peace be upon him) has a very close connection to all the Abrahamic religions. There were three Zoroastrians who came to greet the baby Jesus (peace be upon him). One of the most closest companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was a Persian named Salman Farsi and the Grandson of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Imam Hussain married the daughter of the Persian Zoroastrian King. Not to mention the great Zoroastrian King Cyrus who defeated the pagan king of Babylon and freed the Israelites. Iran has a Shrine dedicated to the Israelite Prophet Daniel (peace be upon him).
The Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was originally from Iraq, a close neighbour of Iran and a land that was and is heavily influenced by Iran. It is very likely that Abraham, Zarathustra, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon them) all worshipped the same One True God.

@@farsalami8605 let's talk about his name first. His simple and correct name is Jalaladdin Mohammad-e-Balkhi. in the Islamic history books his name is attested as "Muhammed Ibn Muhammed ibn Hosayn-e-Hosayni Khatibi-e-Bakri-e-Balkhi". During his own lifetime, he was known by titles such as "Jalaladdin"(the glory of religion), "Khodāvandegār"(The master, The lord) and "Khodāvandegār Molānā"(our master, The lord). Later on, he was given various titles such as "Molavi"(my master), "Molānā"(our master), "Molavi-e-Rumi"(my master The Roman. But by this time Molavi had turned into a special name for him alone and people would only think of him when the word Molavi was said, not the literal meaning). His pen name in some poems is "Khamush"(The silent). The reason why he's known as Rumi to non Muslim world is that he settled in the sultanate of Rum ruled by a branch of Seljuks. The translations of his works by Europeans gave him the name "Rumi" so that's what many know him as. Not his real name which is said above( most of Iranians call him Molānā though)
well, It is a topic of much debate when it comes down to his relation with that Oldman you mentioned( his name is Shams-e-Tabrizi). The admirers of Rumi believe that his relation with Shams was very special and very abnormal because Shams( himself a man who had dedicated himself to god and got very close to the supreme being) caused Jalaladdin to truly come as close as he could to god and with aid of Shams he was able to experience the god in Metaphysical levels. They argue that it is stupid to think it was sexual relation between them while Jalaladdin's poems are all about the love of god and losing yourself in the way of god.

    • @artinrahideh1229
      @artinrahideh1229 Před 10 měsíci +6

@@farsalami8605 Molānā spoke Persian as his mother tongue. A language that is the mother tongue of Persians and effectively makes him Persian. He was born in Balkh. A land which had been settled by Iranic peoples (Aryans of the Avesta) THOUSANDS of years even before him. Trying to identify him as belonging to modern day Iran or Afghanistan or whatever is just simply dumb. There were none of these back then. There was only Iran in its ancient form( called Ērānshahr by the Sasanians) and that Ērānshahr wasn't just today's Iran. It was all the Iranic peoples wether Persian, Parthian, Daylamite or etc.
Therefore I simply consider him a man belonging to the whole iranic world that Modern Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan are equally a part of no matter what.

You can tell from the way they talk they are respectful people and by sitting down and clarifying and answering some of their doubts or corrects some of the misinformation they can be guided to the path of Haq (truth). Very interesting video, good questions answered by intelligent people, it tells you a lot about Iran. In my opinion t is good to be a moral person, with or without religion, but those who impose religious morals (and rules) on people are the real source of evil. Those people are often motivated by power and economic benefits, not only in Iran.

In Iran, no one imposes religious rules on people. This claim is ridiculous. No one can impose religious rules on others. In Iran, religious rules are propagated and the propagation of non-religious ideas is prohibited. But people are free. For example, women are free to choose their clothing, but you are not allowed to advertise not wearing the hijab. If you encourage others to be naked, you will be dealt with.

The Shia sect has made Islam (in general) weaker in Iran. Please don’t hate me but understand. I have cousins from both Sunni and Shia sides. The heavy importance of 12 infallible imams has led people away from Sunnah. After losing interest from Shia (like getting disgusted from self beating (yes it happens) or cursing/bad mouth about Sahabas, Shia not only lose interest in Shiasm but in Islam as a whole. If you did not know...
The "Jews" from Ezion-geber in the south-east of today's Egypt were captured by the Babylonians about 600 BCE and released by Kourosh/Cyrus-the-Great about 60 years later.
Cyrus then moved the released people to Hebron in today's West Bank, a short distance away from Jerusalem.
Only then the Torah ("five books of Moses") was written! Torah is the foundation book for the Jews, Christians and Mus1ims (qur-arn repeatedly refers to it).
So, the Jews would have picked up monotheism while held captive in Babylon.
In various archaeological finds it is evident that, prior to the Babylonian captivity, the Jewish heaven comprised of more persons than just the supreme God. For example, this God even had a wife!

I do agree I might be biased as I base my opinion on people I come in contact with, but their number is not 3-4 people. My extended family alone is like 40 people and they have their own families and friends they're in contact with (making a population of 150-200 people). I can see the religion (not spirituality) fading. I live in a relatively religious city and attended school where many were religious. I know 8 of my acquaintances from high school alone who used to wear chador and now don't even wear hijab. I walk in the street and can see how people dress has changed. All surveys done outside the country show a big shift in Iranians' religious beliefs. Of course they can't be generalized to all the population but they still show a lot.

Every soul has a moral obligation to strive for ultimate truth, and its a continuous journey, offcourse at age of 16 your view of this realm is different as one is just at the beginning of this journey as you move further and encounter harsh realities of life if you are keen observer your purpose of life changes. Being great admirer of science especially Astronomy, quantum physics, living things around me I am convinced that ultimate truth that there is some higher power which is unseen but it is there because thus universe is so intelligently designed how come it is possible that design is there but without designer if designer is there we have been created and we are concioince beings then there must be purpose of our creation, and creator has put this inherent tendency in every soul so someone is looking for it in the skies, some in idols, some in sciece but everyone is searching for it as I said it is a journey of individual soul which he or she has to do alone without any external pressure so in my iopinion it must be allowed the way nature itself has planned it.

Today, most Iranians, especially the youth, have become familiar with the fruits and results of religion that have been introduced to them, and this video is clearly an expression of those results.
Due to the fact that history is considered a science and this science is growing with the advancement of technology, for less than 20 years, surprising facts about the lies of the history of the Islamic religion, which generally come from the historians of the Abbasid regime, have been revealed. In the meantime, especially the young people of Iran will gradually become familiar with these facts and the roots and foundations of this religion of Islam have been completely questioned. In this way, the people of Iran will revise the truth of their beliefs and this is just beginning.
This issue promises a great intellectual revolution among Iranians.
(It should be noted that all the things mentioned in this video as humanity and good morals actually arise from human conscience, which existed before religion, and even now, there is no need for religion for that human morality.)

@@shadabqureshi786according to gamaan, a non profit institute in the Netherlands, Iran is 40% muslim. They did a survey of 50,000 iranians. And after cleaning the survey as per pew research guildines, and after removing responses from iranians outside of iran (the diaspora, who almost all of which are non-believers) they were left with 39,000 responses in the report. This is a huge number for a poll btw, most polls done in other countries for similar stats have about 2000-3000 respondents max. If u look further into thr gamaan study u can see even out of the 40% that identified themselves as muslim, most of them are not very religious (for example much fewer than 40% believe in a heaven and hell, or jhinn). If Ur interested in reading more search GAMAAN, RELIGION STUDY and u can find it published online. The thing u have to note is that doing surveys in iran is notoriously almost impossible over the phone or in person. As these surveys are not anonymous, answering u r not muslim for 99% of the population categorized as muslim by the regime is punishable by death. Also to do an in person or phone survey in iran u must have permission from the regime by law, and u cannot make the survey anonymous (it must be supervised by the regime). So the gamaan study is the best study we have, not only by number of respondents, but also because it was done anonymously so people were not afraid to answer honestly. These figures are not hard to believe because even according to the regime jummah prayer attendance is at an all time low (this is something the regime is very scared about). This is coming from an Iranian diaspora. When I speak with my family in Iran they estimate no more than 60% of the population max wld categorize themselves as muslim. So if we assume that the gamaan study may have slightly undercounted the number, we can take halfway between 40% and 60%, which is 50%. Most of which again are not very religious. People in iran have been leaving islam in droves since the revolution. During the recent protests many thousands were doing quran burnings. Islam is not a religion made for iran, it is one made for 7th century arabs. Putting trust in this religion has brought nothing but hardship to my people. Islam regime propaganda is rampant, so be cautious about it. They have basiji bots all over social media that will make u think we r a very religious country, this is simply not true. Khomeini hijacked a revolution that was already happening and not for islamic reasons. My people will be freed soon, Iranshar!

we don't know we are just small humans on a planets with too many stories if a god exist I don't think he would tell us to worship him and always telling him he is mighty and he is powerful because he already knows who he is I think we should care more about the our people and our future
because I saw to many people used religions as a weapon in their hands to get power over others if a religion is real there should not be any force evolve in it to make the others accept that's the one who control past will control future we should take care of our children that's the governments guys religions extremists and other people doesn't corrupt them
and at the end my opinion on religion i don't really believe in religions and prophets because im a human i have feeling i have common sense if someone have its own religion and doesn't bother me why it should be a problem for me but i saw many times mostly in Abrahamic religion that's there is no stop to bothering others because north west African didn't did anything to Muslims but they attacked them to spread religion same as Spanish people the people some of the Jews from start of history did made a lots of things harder for other people in lands or Arabia by having control over water and many many things happened by the churches in dark times in America and Europe

@@AA-jt6ec what the hell? Literally two people last year were hanged for what is called سب النبی. For instance if you say Muhammad was a pedophile and it gets enough attention and some basterd is too much of a basterd to report you for it you can easily get hanged. Bahaiis and convert Christians(not Armenians and Assyrians) are activelly persecuted. Are you kidding me? I don't care if you live in Iran or not. You can live in Iran and listen to Miley cyrus or Nickie Minage everyday and have no idea what's going on in your country. I'm guessing you're one of those people. Have fun living in your world of ignorance. I envy you people.

Muslims are not the same. The muslims of eastern countries like Pakistan, Iran and India are more spiritual than religious per se. The Islamic revolution in Iran brought more doctrine and organization in that country. In middle eastern countries like Iraq, Syria and Jordan, the islam practiced there is much more in line with the local arab culture. Islam is truly an arab religion not always compatible with the local culture be it Pakistani, Indian or Iranian in the case of this video.
