Joking aside, FFT is probably my favorite strategy/tactics game even after all these years. The music is hella underrated too.

Soooooooo underrated! Probably one of the top JRPG OSTs, alongside Xenogears which is also highly underrated imo.
@@selectstartsoudaneAnother underrated Tactic RPG is Brigandine Forsena and Runersia, it got a crazy lore, but it focuses a lot in the gameplay, i highly recomend the game to RPG fans, specially Tactics RPGs fans. I prefer Runersia, lore wise, ost and gameplay, but Forsena worth a lot too. Sorry for my English, it is hard to a brazilian guy.

@@Huskybythegeek I remember back when it came out, it was the first RPG I had ever played that went further on the moral ambiguity scale, a different depiction of war and people's motives. Moreso than many of the more black and white, good guys v bad guys games. First one that really brought a decent amount of political intrigue to its story (that I played), and didn't hide that war is war - individual people can and will do horrible things to live and survive in systems that have left them out to dry. That probably doesn't have as big an impact these days, but it felt way less common growing up with NES and SNES titles.
Couldn't put it down. Think it was my first introduction to the job/subjob system too since we didn't get FF3 and FF5. And the music we got out of it has such a different feel from everything else of the era.
Ever since then I've always appreciated the RPGs out there that use large and small scale politics as a significant part of their stories. Suikoden comes to mind as one other example.

I like how you accentuated the shifts in intensity in the different parts of this song, it manages to go hard while also being really cruise-y in parts which is neat :)

FF Tactics deserves to be published in form a series of books because its lore is so ahead of the time the game was released, when I was a kid me and some friends were just amazed on how mature and well constructed the history was made by the game developers, such quality on writting deserves more love.

This is fantastic. Trisection or Battle on the Bridge next? With the remake coming, SquareEnix needs to rockify some themes like this on an alternate play list for the game. I love the OST, but man, I'd take this all day during my game.
