Fun fact: in Splatoon 2 if you go pass crusty Sean’s truck into a blocked off street you can barely make out the lobby tower from inkopolis plaza.

i think its a cool attention to detail how Cap'n/Ex-Cap'n cuttlefish actually has to climb and open the sewer grate while marie slides through because cuttlefish cant change in and out of his squid form on demand because of his age, unlike Marie
In Splatoon 1, if you go up to DJ Octavio’s little UFO kettle thing, you can actually see Inkopolis in the distance. I always loved this detail

For the animal statues in the first splatoon game, it IS a fox in the style of a kitsune. As for the other one it is a tanuki statue with a good ol asian conical hat.
yk, I honestly do really think that the great zap fish is losing power because of how many times he’s been used for the main boss’s evil plans in each game. I mean, he used a lot of power in the last game, so I’m assuming there’d be a noticeable change and that’s why Frye said something
Actually, since the first game, they've always said it looks different/smaller.
Is anyone going to realize that in every game he has over 50k, over level 30, and have over 10 super sea shells?
My rankings for the hub areas.
3rd: Inkopolis square, it is a straight square with nothing except entrances to shops and modes a small back alley for deep sea metro and a small ramp for grizzco.
2nd: Inkopolis plaza, slightly open space with a ramp leading up to dojo and news which is pretty cool. Had a decent amount of open space and some pretty cool arcade games and had mini games.
1st: splatsville, has a huge explorable area and you have lots of different areas to explore. The tower is insignificant compared to the other games (not the only landmark and doesn’t stand out as much)and has lots of explorable area and a freaking shop on an apartment complex.

You probably already know this but splatoon 1 and 2 take place in the same city of Inkopolis, just different areas of the city. You can actually see Inkopolis tower in the distance in splat2
The splat 3 shoal is a physical space, its a cooler looking version of sheldons testing room and a little side area
I gotta be honest I like the plaza the most maybe nostalgia but it just felt the most fun to explore even though it technically was the smallest

I feel like the zap fish is slowly getting smaller over the course of the franchise. Maybe one day it will be too small to power the square. What then?
I know the Wii u is regarded as a failed console but I loved mine. When I got it on release I just love it. Even when people say why would I get that I've just got my Wii. You can play Wii games on it too plus some amazing Wii u games.
Also the splatoon 2 mailbox isn't unrealistic the UK has postboxes like that
The mere fact Inkopolis is now canonically called Greater Inkopolis. Man.
In Splatoon 2 Marie still pops out I've beat story mode and Octo Expansion too. And in Splatoon 3 Captain Cuttlefish pops his head out when you are still in the prologue to campaign but once you got into the actual campaign he disappears
Regarding the title and description, there aren't two cities of Inkopolis. The Plaza and the Square are just different sections of the same city.
If I were to rank the hub worlds from least to greatest, I would go. Inkopolis Square, Inkopolis Plazza, and then Splatsville
Amazing. Simply amazing, keep up the great work. Splatoon three's music is not as fun as I remember, and I have been playing Splatoon 1 every day since it came out. The nostalgia is real.

im so glad i got to experience all 3 games (splatoon 1 around 2015 maybe 2016 dont quite remember, splatoon 2 around 2019, and splatoon 3 from launch)
since the city is so big its taking more power from him and he is running out and maybe splatoon 4 or 5 he might run out of power

I think the Great Zapfish is getting old, like its been 7 years and that guys been on hammertime for a while
I miss the cute lil mini games during match waits so nostalgic now that i think about it
if you look closely in splatoon 3 the great zapfish now has a hair on its head maybe mr grizz was trying to turn it into a mammal
idea for a timetravel them of game, wants the wars to never happen, resources loss got destroyed by weapons.

The bird, snake, and boar are the anarchy poisons. That’s why they are in the plaza of splatoon 3.

The original splatoon graphics don’t seem very old. It’s really ahead of it’s time…..I think.

i had a Wii U because I mainly wanted Smash 4 on Wii U. As time went on, I discovered OBE1Plays and that's what got me into the Splatoon series tbh along with the fact that it has online multiplayer. Have you ever played and/or watched Dragon Quest 11: Definitive Edition? 🎮

The status in splatoon 1 are based on the kitsune and tanooky (I probably mispelt a lot of this)

As much as i love splatoon 3 hub i really miss splatoon 2 hub the biggest thing that bothers me is that the s3 hub looks so dry compared too s2 wich looks so colourful and idk juicy
I know they always do, but at least the Splatoon 3 one looks pretty at night. It’s also quite strange since it’s supposed to be the ‘city of chaos’ since chaos won the final splatfest but I think the Splatoon 2 one looked more chaotic

That reminds me of how, based on some CZcams user's comment on some video that I saw, I imagined that in the Nintendo Direct for Splatoon 4, the announcer would announce that player character could finally 'go home' to a flat or student lodging, something like that, with customisation features similar to the lockers in Splatoon 3 but in a whole flat or apartment with options for different floors and walls like in AC:NH. To be fair, I'm sure some people had already imagined similar things considering the design of the Wii U splash screen for Splatoon 1.
