  • I've been railfanning for about 8 months now along the Atlanta & West Point Subdivision for CSX and the Central of Georgia District for Norfolk Southern. This video is a compilation of the CSX Heritage Units that I've caught leading...so far.

I saw the 1827 (Baltimore & Ohio) leading eastbound M370 on February 1st, and three days later (February 4th), it was leading westbound M369. Just recently (May 1st), I saw the 1852 (Western Maryland) leading M369 all by itself. All three of these heritage unit sightings were on the CSXT New Castle Sub between Creston and Rittman, Ohio. Hopefully you'll get to see them leading trains in your neck of the woods.

Nice!! I've caught the B&O but it was trailing 2nd...so I didn't include it.

About 3 or 4 weeks ago, while leaving church, at the "Atlanta RD" crossing on the south side of Marietta, GA. I was surprised by a heritage unit (running as a DPU) in the middle of a CSX north bound train.. There was a "rail fan" taking video there (Not very common). I have no idea what rail road it was a heritage of. It was an unfamiliar road name. I sure would like to know what rail road it was. ;-)
