Keep in mind she had been playing electric guitar for only a few years at this point. She played violin and piano as a toddler with her sisters. As she grew up, the 3 Lovell sisters got heavy into blue grass. Rebecca played banjo and mandolin, which is totally different from guitar. Only once in her teens did she pick up a flat top guitar and went electric in her late teens. This is not a studio recording but a hotel room crude Tip 'O the Hat. It was not meant for publication or playing on the radio. Some haters just need to grow up and get out of mama's basement.
If she has been involved in music all her life and played multiple instruments, that is a huge advantage. If she already played strumming instruments like the banjo and mandolin, there are transferable skills, that would also learn the guitar at a more rapid rate.
If you played the recorder, ocarina and tin whistle, it will still help in learning the oboe and saxophone.
