  • The CT-S1 has 61 tones, 35 of these are directly selectable from the front panel and others from the keyboard but you can also customize the front panel using the Tone Memory function. Casio's Mike Martin takes you through this and more including removing the "notification sound" when you use functions.

    Thank you for sharing how to get rid of the clicking sound when editing. : ) It's a great little keyboard!

    It would be perfect if the CT-S1 was updated to a full size keyboard (12 key=165mm)😘

    So that means that once you store a tone in the memory bank it overwrites the default one and then it will be available to recall (the new tone you stored) the next time you turn your ct-s1 on? Great short videos.

    This review honestly was just not thorough enough. It was very simplistic. Is there a more in depth overview of the functions?
    I just received my red casio ct s1. So far I love it except for the manual (that comes with the keyboard) which is also very basic! Is there an online manual that.explains all of this in more detail? I really wanna learn the dual function.

    The CTS1 has a layering feature. Does that mean that if you select a preset, say an organ preset, that you can layer other presets on top of that preset like stings, etc and play the layered preset ? Or does layering refer to recording, i.e. is the layering an internal digital recording function that you can add other presets to supplement what you recorded ?

      Id love to know also. Have you figured this out yet?

    • @TheresaTV1
      @TheresaTV1 Před 6 měsíci

      The layering is for the sound output of what you are playing. You can layer (only) two sounds and control their relative volume when they are played together.

    • @TheresaTV1
      @TheresaTV1 Před 6 měsíci +1

      There aren’t any rhythm tones on the CT S1.

      There is as per manual provided , I tried and got one rhythm by trial , have to practice how to set (user guide P-E77)@@TheresaTV1

      @@arunpai1515 Page E77 contains the second part of the tone list. As mentioned above the CT-S1 does not directly have any drum sounds or rhythms. If however you were to send MIDI to the CT-S1 on channel 10 you'd hear a drum kit. This solution does require a computer.
