I’m glad you guys brought this to the audience attention. I’m a blk homeowner in Orange County, California & yes it’s a hidden flock of bias & racist people living there from different ethnicities that attack blk people for existing in their presence. I’ve been here for 8 years & planning to relocate in the next 2 years. It’s obvious that blk excellence is a threat.
Black everything is a threat it seems. I've visited Orange County, California and it was like being in Pleasantville. I've never seen a more vanilla place. It was a little surreal. I didn't experience outward racism, but I did witness a bit of bullying to a homeless lady by plaza security.

Where I work it's racist. I live in Maryland & it's very racist here it's not as bad as Virginia, but it's still pretty bad. For most of my jobs I dealt with racism but the job I have now it's insane. It's primarily whites in this area and at my job, I deal with it a lot. Far as most rude it's primarily white men they are the worse the white females are only rude if they have friends with them. One thing I have noticed with some white folks is they love snatching shit from me, and some don't know how to say thank you. Some think they are better than you because of where you work. however, little do they know I'm building a company in the background. It's sad. Not saying all whites are like that but it's hard because most of the ones I interact with are just rude.

I'm just glad this was at the previous home and not your forever home because neighbors like that create problems for themselves. No matter how sophisticated and nice we are, we will never not receive some type of hate, resentment or negative encounter from those other people that were unfortunately stuck in their ways. This crap happens everywhere. I live in one of the most nicest neighborhoods in Richmond Virginia. And when my husband and I bought our house back in 2005 we had this happen to us. My husband had a motorcycle and one day around 2 in the day he took it out to ride around the street since he hadn’t ride it in a few months. This man 👨 came into our driveway and told my husband to not ride it because it was loud. My husband told him to get out of our property. He left and came back again within a few minutes and asked us who owns this house. When my husky said we own the house he asked to see our mortgage statement. He left again and then a cop showed up with him. We told the cop what was going on and the cop told him that they’re not doing anything wrong and told the man that he was wrong because he came onto our property and that if he came back again he would get arrested. At that time, we were the 2nd black couple that lived here so you can assume what type of person he was. Anyway, we are still living here and he is still living here too and the funny thing about it is that he must be losing his mind because my husband is in the military and he saw him one day in his uniform and tried speaking to him. My husband reminded him who he was and of the story and basically told him to go F himself. Never had any problems here except for that incident but congratulations to you both on your new house.
Why am I not surprised? I use to live in Anaheim Hills and had some neighbors like that. And believe me, they weren’t afraid to ask personal questions such as what do you do and how much do you make? REALLY ? Anyway after 22 years, I sold and moved out of state because I wanted some land and build a home here. It’s great to see young successful Black people do it big. Much Luv.
I live in the suburbs of Carmel, Indiana and I experience stuff like this on a daily as a young black man.
I think a lot of it is envy.
The fact that we are young and black and moving into the suburbs they instantly try to figure out how we get there at our age where it took them 20 30 years…
The best thing we can do is continue to show them that we too can have nice things and maintain the quality of living we all worked hard for.
Most of the time they only mess with us because they think we are going to flip out or get outlandish…
I laugh and keep it moving because I’m not letting someone’s ignorance trick me out of my life that I’ve worked HARD to live.

I had the same issue when we purchased our home, our neighbors called the cops on us every weekend anytime we had guests over for a month straight, they sold their home a year later and told the new homeowners not to friend us and to be careful. We are the youngest in our neighborhood too.
I've been there, I was born and raised in CA, I lived in Huntington Beach, CA. They asked my son what nationally I was? Because I am very light, I had a guy come up to my car and asked me if I was OK because my boyfriend at the time was dark skin. Crazy! Now I live in Georgia racist from my blk folks and other ppl. They hate California's. I lived very well, and still do. Why did I moved to GA? I got laid off after almost 40 years, i was offered a job here. I'm retired now fighting cancer. But the things I've gone through you wouldn't believe. My son is brown skin and 6'6 married good looking and ppl are still trying to figure out what he does... I Love You Two, live your life. Maaaan I had a neighbor that would call the cops on me and my girl for laughing in our room when they'd hear through the wall, meanwhile that same guy was beating guts and we'd hear EVERYTHING and not say a word. When I had surgery that same neighbor saw me fall down the stairs and when I asked him to help me, he stood over me and just looked at me and walked away. Yall don't even have to ask his race
when people call the police you can go to the police station and get the Freedom of Information Act information get who called the cops and what they say.
I've never heard anything good about OC other than extreme bigotry! 😕 I lived in So Cal for two years in Marina Del Rey and the only time I went into Orange county was for my exit physical and that was the last time. I was experiencing the same thing recently. My neighbors were trying to ask me about how I earn my income, discredit my business, college, Etc. They’re definitely jealous and everytime I walk my dog, the same neighbors try to stalk, and harass me.
When you live in areas outside of Los Angeles it’s quite common to experience that amongst your neighbors (especially Irvine, OC, etc). Even though you all just purchased your crib (hopefully it will be a more pleasant experience) look to try and get in communities in L.A that are influenced more with people who are like yourselves (i.e. Ladera Heights, View Park, Windsor Hills, and Baldwin Hills). You’ll definitely be amongst the same or even higher caliber of people/families who show Nothing But Love to you guys. Peace and Blessings to you!

We never had police called on us, but the neighbors started moving out when we moved in. We are the best neighbors anyone could have. We are a quiet family who don't make alot of noise or like drama. They were old white people who I believe didn't like the fact they had a black neighbors. The neighborhood is now more younger and diverse and we all get along just fine. We moved here because it''s safe and have a good school system for our kids. The county in which we live is a very diverse community. I heard that most moved to different states or cities. Sorry that happened to you guys.

My wife and I are blessed to have found your videos. They are very refreshing, particularly the travel ones as we desire to start a travel channel. I find myself going back and binging so great work! I came across this one I was like wow that’s exactly us! We are also here in California in the Central Valley and our neighbors are constantly trying to figure out what we can do for living! We caught it from go, as they were outside asking if they can help us move our things inside and we thought it was a nice gesture. We took two different neighbors up on it initially, but when they came inside, they would say things like wow thats a nice TV it must have set you back, or wow those chairs are really nice, those had to cost you a pretty penny! wow your house is so clean and organized! My lady and I stay to ourselves. They try to invite us to “neighborhood” getting to know you events, we straight!

My husband and I moved last year into our new home. Our neighbor is a lawyer and her husband is an executive and a well known company. Her husband is cool, but she is such a busy body. Always asking questions that are none of her business. She says things like I saw a delivery going to your basement, doing remodeling? Our painters washed off their paint brushes and a little bit of the water from the paint ran at the bottom of the hill in the backyard. She wanted to complain about an area where there was a patch near the trees. Her husband told my husband to just ignore her. She is getting better, now that she knows my husband and I are career minded people. 😵💫

I feel yall 1000%! I'm going thru thr same thing right now except I've bought this home. Moved in immediately started renovations never had parties or anything. I've had a neighbor call their HOA on me for my truck being big infront of my home then another time someone called a cop because I had one of my cars pointed the opposite way next to thr curb. Mind you only two black people lived in this Cove and we were the youngest period. Everyone else is white shit is crazy how people are so racist in 2022 still.
Trust me i know exactly what y’all going through..going through it myself In Elizabeth NJ same problem me and my family are young, the blackest in the neighborhood. Never had no problem with my neighbor all of a sudden cops show up at my door about a noise complaint. Cops have come to my house 12am 1am when me and my family sleeping saying neighbors complaining about noise and we’re all sleeping. It’s horrible I’m going through court case for harassment all types of stuff. Wishing the best for y’all
