You have ribbed nails - GET A HUGE FRICTION, put smooth nails, and center them, and center the rollers, and lubricate the places of friction of rollers and nails with silicone grease and repeat test 2 !!!, you already started to work, but because of friction is not the beginning.
It will work when the right side of the chain that moves down will be heavier than the left side of the chain that moves up, the center with respect to which they move is the upper and lower rollers, through them passes the central, vertical axis separating the balance of the weights of the left and right parts of the chain, relative to the central vertical axis.

Perpetual motion machines r nearly impossible dream to have on large scale .... But in ur project even if u try to reduce friction in the moving parts the motion is not possible ..but don't lose hope ...u do really a great job...kudos for that....😀😃😊😉

You asked why it doesn't work. This may have been answered but I didn't read all comments, sorry.
It's really simple vector math. When the chain is vertical there's G pulling on it. Anything less than vertical and the amount of G pull is affected by the angle(s)... i.e. less G force in the required direction to lift the other chain.
Assume you take a 10 kilo chain and lay it on the table with 1 kilo of chain hanging over the side. The 9 kilo of chain doesn't pull it all on the table. Now if I take that same chain and drape it over a pulley, the heavy side will pull the lighter side up and over. Now you should see there's an angle I can place the chain at where the 9 kilo section will equal the 1 kilo force and the chain is stationary
And since the chain is a connected loop, the sum of these angle vectors will always be in equilibrium... i.e. no perpetual motion machine.

You have made a good try in the video. I think the friction in the pulley is more and it is not rotating freely. If you try making much better pulley system may be this mechanism works.

First step - frictionless bearings. The energy needed to turn your "bottle cap and nail" bearings far exceeds anything your unbalanced chain is capable of producing.

The Friction is more than overbalance weigh. To make more overbalance, you can make more zig zag in the righ position. its mean you must make taller. so in the righ more always heavy than in the left

it is made a bit rustic, and have a lot of friction in all the moving parts, also the chain is a too wide in proportion to the weight an total length. but anyway, i think it can only may work with zero friction

Don't listen to the negative saying will never work. Many many inventions were made by mistake. You could break the laws of physics and prove every one wrong. But first o would use something more fluid turning for your gears like bearings used in center of fidget spinner

  • @joen5000
    @joen5000 Před 5 lety +1

Nearly all the CZcams perpetual machines are fake. This one with the chain as well.
Once the chain is in a slope, it's vertical pull down weight becomes smaller and it still balances the weight on the other side, even if there were a zero friction, which is not the case.
This does not mean that there could not be a perpetual motion machine, it only means, that specifically this simple machine doesn't work.
Perpetual motion has been sought in the past for a long time, unsuccessfully yet. But we are far from knowing the essence of existence as opposed to what some physicists might claim.
There are many theories about different physics and different existence with different laws of physics and even that they interact with us in a manner that we don't know yet.
The scientific revolution relative to the time that has passed since the existence has emerged is nothing. So not matter what some of us might claim that we are about to know the truth about existence, we are far from it.
So there could be parallel worlds, or the so called multiverse which interact with us (It's a viable theory), and it could be that once we understand things better and discover more about, that we find a way to make perpetual motion machines.
One thing is sure; Nothing is ultimate and all the physics we know and use today, could be reviewed and modified even extremely later on, when we understand more about.
So these simple physics perpetual motion ideas might not work, but more uncommon and radical ones might work actually. We just still need to find them somehow.

Do they work not really yeah once you started in motion it continues to move longer van expected but eventually it slows down and comes to a stop because of resistance caused by many different factors like wind resistance and just general friction of moving parts

  • @abdelazizghodhbani2739

Hello! I think you have to use some wheels with bigger diameter in order to increase the momentum of the forces of the chain versus the friction momentum in the axis of the wheels. Also, entraxes of the wheels must be accurately regulated, so don't use again this cartoon devices because it can never work.

Perpetual Motion Machines are impossible under the conditions our current understanding of physics has given us. Anything you see as proof has been faked or they have not accounted for energy they are adding to the system. Even if this ran for an hour, it isn't perpetual and will stop after running out of it's intial potential energy.

Do not waste your time at such systems for free energy. It is impossible. If it were possible the life on the Earth would be very easy. And the inventor of such magical systems could be the richest person at the Univers.
What you did will never work as a perpetual machine. It is impossible according to the laws of Thermodynamics. In this example, it seems as if it is overbalanced and triggers motion. No. it is not correct. To have motion you must have a force that initiates motion. In this example Force balance at the right and left sides are equal to each other. Horizontal and vertical components of the force balance of chain and rollers cancel each other and no movement starts. To understand what I mean, you should know Newton's second law and some physics.
