It's so stupid how Hasbro changed the plastic on the skirt pieces this year. The legs can still lift up, but not enough to get into any crouching poses. The plastic just feels too stiff compared to releases from previous years. Hopefully the issue is fixed in the future
For me the Alien Rangers and the Minotaur are some of the best ones I think I've ever seen.
It will always piss me off that we keep getting crossover figures while very popular rangers still don't have figures. Hundreds of rangers to release, but let's do crossovers. It was stupid.
But hey, at least they finally released Z.

Happy New Year!!! My personal faves from this year are Dino Thunder Black and Turbo Red.
Other than web exclusives, I have not seen any of these figures in my stores. Nothing from target, GameStop, Walmart, or any other retailer. The only ones I did saw were the cobra Kai figures, and I skipped those immediately. But yeah, sad year for me. Not 1 2023 figures made it to any of my stores in my area.
I’d like to see you do a video on what you think should be released post hiatus. Specifically what figures, deluxe, role play items would be the best to get collectors back on board with the Lightning Collection and generate hype. It could be another Top 10 or just your general thoughts.
I have been bummed about the freeze/cancellation, but this video is a nice reminder of some really great figures in 2023, trying to be thankful for that

The Alien Rangers were some awesome figures. I have to get the Dino/Tommy Black.
I understand there were few choices to be made, but I'd argue that the In Space Silver release is superior to the original release. I think all of the In Space rangers should of had a default deluxe release with their galaxy glider. So Silver with the cycle is my preferred way to get that figure. I'd say the only negative thing about the release is the fact that it doesn't convert to the glider in some way, like the original toy did.
2023 was the year of the Blue and Yellow Rangers.
Really hope Hasbro gets their shit together and brings this line back. There's so many figures that still need to be made and so many that should be redone
Remastered Pink is excellent, Josh. I think you'll love it once you get it. The color is better, the articulation of course, etc
I got lucky and found the OG LC MMPR Blue Ranger Billy at a con for $50. Every where else I've seen it is asking close to $100.
While I know they very much didn't see the halting of everything Power Rangers as a whole in 2023, it's kind of a shame we're stopping without a Forever Red display possible give they didn't get far enough to do Carter/Lightspeed Red, Eric/Quantum Ranger, and if they had a way to do him without featuring a head for him given the controversy around his actor, Cole/Wild Force Red.
Granted, as Josh reported a few times over whenever it came up, Wild Force Red would have been a special release to have an excuse to not feature a head of Cole/Rick Medina.
Still, I feel like a Forever Red display should have been one of their goals for fans to achieve by now, even with the few put to special releases like the two packs for In Space and Lost Galaxy Red Rangers (the Lost Galaxy two-pack allowing you to include Red Psycho Ranger if you wanted, much as he's not part of the Forever Red line-up) or the team pack for Red Alien Ranger.

That's funny, i wondered if Maya would be on the list. I just got one from GameStop in store for $15 with discounts. Then i had to pay full price plus shipping for another one, because her entire right arm joint was fused together. Left arm, I had to crack away paint to get it to bend, but right was entirely solid plastic. Idfk how that happens but it did. I even ordered her a Quasar Saber from RangersForge before i had the figure. Just to have to swap it out and basically pay full price anyway lol. Also got a very good Kiya headsculpt from them too!
I love the minotaur. For after this year around before Halloween I've been collecting the monsters from lightning collection, I only have one ranger and two of the Ninja turtles sets but my main interests are mainly the monsters and villains. I'm debating on if I should get the cog foot soldier and the wild Force foot soldier.
The closed box made the QC lottery so much worse. I got a Dino Thunder Black with a missing fist, loose helmet and warped staff and a Lost Galaxy Yellow that had peeling stickers on the launcher.
My favorite releases would be the omega rangers pack. They did an excellent job. Lost Galaxy Pink is the runner up for the reasons you mentioned.
Pretty solid year minus quality control issues. Here is expecting Hasbro will bring back the line one day, perhaps in 2025. Because I want Jen, R.J., Ziggy and Cam! Please Hasbro

I got multiple of the tenga warriors 2-pack from GameStop last summer when they had a deal of buy 1 get 2 free and yes they did have same qc issues but it was only to the wings some came with 2 right big wings and 2 left small wings other then that no other problems.
For now I’m long for another Daniel LaRusso so I can make a white ninja Tommy out of him.
Great lists, while I don't have a single one of these figures as of typing I think you've gone with some pretty sound logic in making your choices. To give some specific thoughts:
- with the line on hiatus indefinitely, I wish even more that we'd gotten a Quantron two-pack instead of the Tengas. I get making the most of the mould, but man, what a waste...
- both of the exclusive Yellow Rangers are definitely sorely lacking. Maya missing her Quasar Saber is ridiculous.
- the Remastered figures colours on that powerrangertube thumbnail, looooovely. Green in particular looks very sharp.
- I generally agree with the idea of including relevant accessories from other characters with a figure, but I don't think Zeo Blue's tonfas with the single-release Cog is the best example, those really should've come with Rocky.
- your list of missing Dino Thunder villains... yep, I feel that. Like, overall, so many villains that we never got. A sizable chunk of the figures I still want are villains.
- obligatory "still need to get Turbo Red" comment (and hell yeah, so cool to see he has all his weapons, including the Turbo RAM sword).
- obligatory "still need to get Blue Senturion" comment. Man, as soon as I'm able to buy more stuff...
Wish we could've gotten an Elgar and Divatox pack!

I got most of the figures that were released in 2023 pink remastered is almost always in stock still at my local gamestops
I'm so tired of crossover stuff in general... but the Skele-Putty actually looks kinda neat.
(Wasn't there an episode of MMPR with skeleton patterned Putties? I know Pumpkin Rapper had pumpkin-headed ones, and I want to say there were skeleton ones at some point but can't remember for sure.)
Toylines don’t get frozen or put on pause like this, if it does return it will be different, most likely a smaller scale and safer releases.
My favorite figure of 2023 is remastered mighty morphin blue (just amazing remastered figure of billy and he’s easily the best of the remastered line)
My least favorite the entire cobra Kai crossover lineup ( seriously these were so cheap and lazily made all they did was take the ninjetti figures and slapped characters from cobra kai on them it’s horrible)
i think i I only picked up 2 lightning collection figures this year, lost galaxy green and lost galaxy pink but both were decent besides the green ranger's head being a bobble head.. guess i should be glad it was from the older style packaging with the helmet on instead of the civilian head, since it would have broke trying to swap it with my luck
would have liked the alien rangers but even it's current price of $98, is to expensive for my tastes, at least all at once.

Nope
If they didn't come out back when the other toys for Cosmic Fury did, I doubt they're happening at all unless they surprise us later this year should Hasbro be willing to start doing stuff with PR again.

I'm happy that Hasbro did Z and Maya to complete the Lost Galaxy and S.P.D. teams and they're some of my favorite seasons of PR. I would bring them down for how long it took to get Z and Hasbro giving Maya the same problem as Wave 8 Leo including the Quasar Launcher instead of the extended Quasar Saber and not giving us her version of the Transdagger. If you want her Transdagger I would use Pink's and cut in half and paint the Lightning bolts with a yellow paint marker. Remastered MMPR Pink is annoying because of all the numerous variants Hasbro did. The Cobra Kai collaboration is a very easy skip because I never found those to be creative. Of the 3 different collabs my favorite was the Street Fighter collab because I'm a fan of fighting game characters as Power Rangers. Turbo Red was fantastic and I hope the line doesn't permanently end because I want to get the rest of the Turbo team. I'm also happy that RPM is in the line because I want to get the rest of the RPM team.
My number one were the alien Rangers, loved the white ranger a lot, but also the red and black.. then yellow and blue so they took 1… then ofc Dino thunder black at 2… then Mezigog at 3…I was a fan of Cobra Kai and got Johnny and Daniel they fell on my 4… Turbo red I really wanted.. preordered from amazon and they lost my package… it was apparently at the wear house near me and got lost… had to wait for almost a month before anything was resolved… don’t even think I got a refund yet and this was months ago… so never got him.. could’ve been there with Dino black… that I didn’t get it when I preordered it soured on me…the let down for me were the Omega Rangers.. I just wasn’t feeling them.. the articulation to me was such a let down.. the girl rangers were way smaller than previous rangers they… to me were just not in scale really weird.. tiny helmeted heads…also passed on the remasters… had red and green locked on pre order and they took soooo long to be added to my pile of loot on bbts… i cancelled once they’d been out everywhere else… figured I’ll get them later if I see them out in the wild as I was seeing GameStop was getting them… have yet to see anything..maybe if I find them at a toy show or Con..
For me, the Omega Rangers are #1.
I do like the power rangers lightning collection but I munch prefer the old toys I ❤ better and I still have them
My dino thunder black's helmet is way too big and loose on the body. Does anyone else have that issue or is it just me? I'd buy another one for a better fitting if I knew it wasn't every figure. Definitely my most disappointing release of the year.
This year i liked the alien Rangers, mesogog, minotaur and Omega rangers. At massive clearance i also enjoyed the tengas for army building. Otherwise agreed
