I was 19 and one of a very few white dudes from the US at Sunsplash '81 so when Steel Pulse came out with the "KKK" man I was scared as f***. Just to let you know, Jamaicans are the coolest sweetest people I've ever been around. They took me up in the mountains, gave me a place to stay, fed me and educated me - all out of the kindness in their hearts. Toots for President!

Impressed for many reasons, imagine this footage being given the HD remastered treatment, would be most welcomed.
    Jah bless

Anyone know if these were Steel Pulses first big Jamaican gigs or had they been there before? Pulse was getting popular in New Wave circles about then also touring with Talking heads etc. Did they get the gig cause of their popularity in USA or were they going to JA for years?
